It's probably a shock to most of you...I think he only told 3 or 4 of us about it as he wanted nothing to change here when he was well enough to visit WF.

Yes, he was a pain in the ass, but he was a fighter and never gave up, right until the end. He was more concerned with his family he was leaving behind than the medical horrors he had to endure in the end.

He was a sweet and patient presence on a board that is often rowdy and crazy. His real life was extremely difficult but also full of miracles and against-all-odds recoveries. Even so, it was a sad day for all of us when he finally lost his battle with cancer.

He spent a lot of time nightly in our chat room, and it was there that another side of him really shone...good solid advice, a wicked sense of humor and those of us lucky enough to be there watched...
