Well, history has shown that diverse nations end up destroying non-diverse nations.

Nazi Germany did not believe in diversity, and that's why no matter what they did, they were doomed...because the more diverse US took in the racially impure scientists who helped design the atomic bomb.

Going further back, the Roman Empire was so successful because it did not just conquer its neighbors...it assimilated them. ANYONE could become a Roman citizen and therefore the conquered cultures became Roman far more easily.

I'm the in the white minority in my area. Blacks here outnumber Whites 2 to 1. It's not bad at all. Phase 1, gaining their trust was completed about three years ago. Phase 2, turning them against each other is, as you can tell from our local news, well underway and doing splendedly. My projections show that I'll be in total control of this place by Spring of 2011.

Racially yes.

I doubt any other large country has two large and substantial minority groups who have been overall mainstreamed as thoroughly as blacks and Hispanics.

Culturally I'm not certain since overall things in America are really levelized in many ways.

By the way, I don't see diversity as a bad thing. Or a good thing. I'm pretty neutral on the subject.

But what annoys me is people acting like having "diversity" should be one of the great sought after goals of the nation.
