I understand what Kirk is saying. He's saying that technically the Government and the Supreme Court have committed an error in saying they can ban certain guns. The 2nd Amendment doesn't give the government the authority to pick and choose. So if I want to buy a fully automatic rifle I should be able to and the government (along with the Supreme Court) is infringing on my right to buy one. Yes the government does ban certain weapons but really that's only because they've gotten the courts to support what Kirk says is a violation of the 2nd Amendments right to bear arms.
I understand that as well. What I don't understand is why he's calling Alpha Romeo a dumbass for explaining the reasoning behind why SCOTUS says that shit ain't the case.
Oh I don't know. Maybe because he is an idiot who has an extremely difficult time comprehending when someone has the nerve to disagree with laws that restrict gun ownership and the courts who have chosen to allow those laws to remain in place. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Alfie tends to call names when he is making his posts. I'm sorry you weren't able to pick up on that.
Because Alpha has a shitty way of making his comments. Ever stop to ask good old Alfie why he is such an asshole with how he makes his posts? Your friend Alfie has a very difficult time accepting someone opinion when it disagrees with the judgment of the court. In fact, he doesn't even bother trying to understand what others are saying. Thanks for being so balanced in your questioning of people's attitudes. I'm sure you will ask Alfie the same type of question. Oh wait, probably not given the fact that you haven't done at all. :bunnie:
He didn't hurt my feelings. He's an asshole, if he's going to be an asshole I will call him on it. Tell me why don't you ask your buddy why he has to be an asshole?
Because he wasn't being an asshole. I've slammed his ass more than once (so to speak), but I didn't see him saying anything wrong here.
That's good you see it that way. I do not see it that way. So we'll have to agree to disagree on that. Good to know.
Look who's talking. Anyway, I find several traits of bullies at work here...generally they blame their targets for "starting it", or they go on to say that they were just joking and the targets don't have a sense of humor. They also tend be cowards who roar louder and louder and make uglier threats until they actually have to back them up against someone who isn't intimidated. Oh and you have a really small dick. I have it on good authority.
Awesome. Well continue on then. Don't let anyone stop with your crybaby comments. We can pat you on the head and shove a lollypop up your ass or something when you do.
Nothing's more pathetic a wannabe bully who can't get their intended victim to back down. By the way, all the people you count on to support you and cheer you own have had enough of you, except for Sokar, who will stick with you through thick and thin...God help you both!
It's okay Mike. At least we know you have enough pity for yourself. Especially given your whining through more than one thread about being dogpiled on. My heart goes out to you.
I think you should be able to legally own a submachinegun, actual assault rifle, or sawed-off shotgun without any additional regulation, paperwork, fees, or stamps.
^If you go by the theory that the 2nd guarantees each of us in the militia ("the people") to bear the standard small arms of a contemporary soldier, then yup.
That's what U.S. V Miller said. If Miller or his lawyer had bothered to show up that day, then you could probably get a sawed off shotgun at Wal-Mart today.
Just curious, but do many soldiers carry sawn-off shotguns? (I realize that submachine guns and assault rifles are used by soldiers)
They are mainly issued to police and military as riot guns or close quarters combat guns. They are also known as entry guns. I can't tell you how many soldiers carry them.
