Yes and no, it's the kind of thing that happens under a government, and probably wouldn't happen in complete anarchy.
Free association is not allowed in anarchy? Is there some sort of bureaucratic agency enforcing this rule?
Human behavior. The tendency in this forum to label anything that isn't "Me and mine and fuck the rest of you" as "socialism" gives a good view of what you guys define as "anarchy."
Free association happens in anarchy where the power between any two individuals is roughly equal. However, the less equal the bargaining power is between any two individuals, the less likely it is that it won't result in some form of coercion, forceful or otherwise.
Actually, it's government when Party B shows up with the guns and says to hand over the food 'because it's the law', and 'because it's for the common good.' Although how this benefits Party A is never really made clear...
Cracks me up how so many libtards came rushing in here with wet diapers after I posted this for a chuckle.
That would be the best scenario but most likely party A being bitches about guns would be like, "oh no we can't team up unless you get rid of those guns, eh...." Stupid people tend to stay stupid even when faced with the reality that they are unprotected in a "TEOTWAWKI" scenario.
Ah, the ol' Pee Wee Herman/John Castle fallback: "If it doesn't get applause, pretend you just did it for laughs." That's adorable. What would really happen is that them with the most guns would kill off those with fewer guns and take all their stuff.
That's great. I would fully intend to leave others alone. Now promise me that those others would leave me alone. Obviously, you can't.
Well, Marso might because he knows you from WF. If you came up on him as a stranger, I wouldn't give much for your odds.
Great idea- I'm 100% for it. Tell it to all the criminals. And the other criminals who aren't in government as well.
I'm not saying YOU can't have guns. Why force me to choose between not having a gun or you bullying me? Because, defense is not what this cartoon is about. Yes, it's funny. But, the comments since appear to condone such actions. If I feel a need to buy a gun when the time comes, that's my business. It's not for you to decide that since I don't have one, whatever is mine, is yours.
The comments do not CONDONE those actions- they merely acknowledge reality and the lessons of several thousand years of human history. I don't know why anyone bothers talking to you, Jenee. You seem to manage to misunderstand and/or misinterpret just about everything anyone says.
God-DAMN, did "Mister Rogers" and "Sesame Street" screw our whole country up. Yes, it is a noble idea, trying to indoctrinate our kids to cooperate and share and such, but it all breaks down because there will always be greedy arrogant people to take advantage of them. In "Sesame Street's" defense, I remember a cartoon of "It's OK to Get Mad." That is about as close as they come to illustrating standing up for yourself and yours.
