Check it out on FB. Looks like a little flash mob organization for about mid-Sep in multiple US cities, based on the London and European riots.

There's even a page for Boise, with their 6 sign-ups so far. If these fucks think they are going to rage through downtown Boise breaking windows and looting, they got another think coming.

I plan on making a call to Boise PD on Sep 15th- I'll be home. I'll also be downtown on the 17th, armed with shotguns and sidearms, and available to my businesses of choice as unpaid security. Anyone who hoists a brick or threatens property damage to a business under my guard is going to get a facefull of .00 buck. In Idaho I'll trust myself to a jury of twelve.

You want to know where people like me 'draw the line?' This is it.

I moved to Idaho for a reason. I won't tolerate the chav bullshit in London where I live.

Sounds like six retards in Boise are making asses of themselves trying to impress people on the internet.

    Make that seven.

Regardless, be sure to post pics if you actually go through with it.

Rest assured, you won't even know "I'm there" unless a trigger gets pulled. Then's it'll be all over.

I think we need less rage, not more.
By the way, what moron sets up a flash mob in advance, on a social network seen by millions, including agencies like the FBI, CIA and various police organizations?

Well, I don't live in Boise, and I don't plan on participating in this tiresome exercise in dick waving, so I'll know about it when I see it in the paper.

Unless you're just making big threats you have no intention of following through on, as usual, in which case I'll know it when you're back here on the 18th pretending this thread doesn't exist.

The same kind who apparently thinks the London-style bullshit should go ineffectively opposed or unopposed altogether. Which means that if you really think Marso's being a moron, you should probably shut your fucking yap yourself.

Like I said, there will be a call to Boise PD on the 15th- I'm pretty sure they'll have the intel by then but you never know. I plan on being the 'last line of defense' for a couple places downtown near and dear to my heart.

I will speak to the proprietors beforehand- I won't defend their property if they don't want it defended by an armed citizen.

If they do, I'll be available at no cost and no liability to them. I won't engage a 'hostile' until they show clear intent against a property I've been engaged to defend and there is no police presence to stop it. If those conditions are met, God help the perp because at that point I'll be weapons free and no regrets.

Several years ago I was willing to go to the wall against the local government in Cobb Co. GA during a high-profile eminent domain case that was total bullshit. There were enough people like me that it never came to folks on the fenceline with rifles and shotguns, but the local authorities knew it was getting THAT ugly before they backed down. This is different, but in some ways not so much. It's about the will to act.

You folks have heard me talk the talk for years. You may or may not believe it when we say we're willing to walk the walk. It's not crazy- it's the ultimate expression of sacrifice that folks like myself dedicated to as members of the armed forces. I stood the line during the Cold War against the Soviets- I'm willing to stand the watch for people I care about against looting thugs in my own community. If it means I might get in trouble or go to jail...well, you have to stand for something, goddamn it, or you are just one of the sheep.

Who's we? Regardless, I'll believe it when I see it. Until then you're just another retard in Boise talking shit.

Hey, remember when you said you'd shoot any government representative that came onto your property? That was pretty funny.

Hurm. This sounds like a perfectly valid excuse to head downtown , wearing the bullwhip and the .357. I'm sure the People's Republic of Portland will jump right on that bandwagon.

If only I could think of a business in Portland I felt like going to court over. :cylon:

That said, have you considered getting a bullwhip? I mean a shotgun full of ball and buck is perfectly good for defending you and yours, but the first time some punk sees 8' of kangaroo hide coming at his face at mach 1, I bet he gets second thoughts--and no firearms necessary (unless he has a big-ass sword).

Defending yourself against rioters is "vigilante justice?" News to me.
Vigilante justice is making rash catastrophic judgements before the facts are in. Enraged rioters heading toward you is enough of a "fact" IMO.

I think a few "stick it to the man" types are under the impression that Idaho is just like London, and that they realistically have little to fear.
Perhaps they are on a direct course to a change of attitude. :frolic:

My parents live in the Snake River Valley where they grow a lot of potatoes!
They even get free water via huge public use pipes for irrigating their garden from the Snake River. They have a great view of the mountains and their town is laid back + friendly, though lacking much job growth - just the way retirees like it!

Let me be anywhere near rioters if they get near my parents...wait they are already fully armed and great shots...never mind! :damnkids:
