You can see her talent with the volume turned down. Another Maddona wannabe.

She's got a three-octave range. You clowns wouldn't recognize talent if you fell over it.

    Re: Beyonce's Talent

You're saying The Who and Beyonce are the same type of music? Might as well compare Cage and Mozart.

    De gustibus non est disputandum.

You're apparently not drunk enough yet tonight.

And like Whitney, most of her music is beneath her talent. When sparks started shooting from the guitar, all I could think of was what the guitarist from WASP said after similar stunt nearly blew his nuts off, "If we could write better songs, I wouldn't have to do shit like this!"

I don't think she used all of one in the show. She should had stayed still and sang well. Give me a maria Carey over her any day.

I am convinced that somewhere, there is a factory shitting out female R&B divas just as fast as it can. There is never a shortage of fans because there is never a shortage of people with no taste. This is reflected in our entire culture, all the way from our novelty president down to entertainment for the idiot masses.

Beyonce's creations are the musical equivalent of a child's finger paintings.

    Allow me to illustrate:

And now, real music, with real depth:

That, is great music that will live forever.

Beyonce does what she does better than just about anyone. That doesn't mean I'm a big fan of it, but I recognize she's really really good at it.

Pfft, I didn't even know, or care for that matter, who was playing today until I turned it on passing through to find out.

And there she was bouncing and bobbing around.

    Meh.

In my older age I strive to move away from the hater attitude and with that decided that she was getting paid, people like her, and I can now go on to watch Downton Abbey.

Just can't get excited one way or the other.

Gotta give Beyonce credit for singing live, dancing in high-heels, and looking good doing both.

Buncha fuckin' grandparents in this thread.

Beyonce did an alright show, Destiny's Child isn't bad for what it is, and you're all just complaining because nothing is as good as it was "Back in your day"

Pretty, but, as usual, I flipped over to watch something else instead of the half time show. I know it's about the money, but just put a college marching band on for twenty minutes, or less, and get on with the game.

I love Madonna, but she was nowhere near as talented as Beyonce. Her vocals alone are far superior to anything Madonna ever did.

With all of the talentless hacks currently topping the music charts, you guys pick Beyonce to gang on?? Seriously? Could it be that her politics disturb you? It just doesn't make sense. She's one of the most talented of all time, IMHO.

I'm not a big fan of that kind of music, but I thought she was a much better choice than wheeling out another geriatric mega-band from the sixties. Watching Daltry and Townsend stagger around the stage for 20 minutes only reminded me that they didn't die before they got old. Beyonce has significant talent, and she's in her prime right now. That's what you want for the halftime show.
