Because he doesn't like it. He's a massive hypocrite. By the way, I'm on record as also being against ANY heterosexual sexual intercourse outside of marriage as well so I'm hardly picking on the gays when it comes to sexual morality.

Very true. To my knowledge all of the great apes practice polygamy (usually an alpha male with a group of females) and several primates have been observed with homosexual behavior. Marriage only came about with the rise of civilization because men wanted to control a woman's sexual actions so he could be sure the offspring he was supporting (and who would eventually inherit his property) were biologically his. It is a social construct not usual for primates much less the great apes ergo the "natural" argument just doesn't hold water.
