Arias who five years ago, stabbed her boyfriend a huge number of times, then shot him, hen cut his throat from ear to ear had claimed self defense in the murder of her boyfriend after having sex with him found guilty of First Degree murder.

while some have speculated whether she will get the death penalty (the prosecution is going to seek it) I don't see it happening.

IIRC, no woman executed in the modern era (there have been very few) has been executed for only one murder despite how gruesome.

Frankly, I'm just glad it's over. The trial has made Headline News unwatchable for months.

Is it:

1) The gruesome nature of the killing? Meh. Dead is dead.

2) That she may have been abused? Meh. There is a system in place to get women out of those situations at no cost to them.

3) That she was attractive in the right makeup, clothes, and hairstyle? Meh. There are far more attractive women.

4) All of the above?

I'm inclined to conclude that she's a psychopath. There's video footage of her in an interview room where she's full-on Looney Tunes. Talking to herself, laughing maniacally, doing handstands.
