His diction was fine. You chose to ignore obvious keywords like "What if" and "for the sake of argument" so you could paint the picture you wanted to of Albert. Your pretend intellectualism gambit fails because there was nothing unclear about what he said to anyone but someone who wanted to put words in his mouth.
Perhaps you don't see it because you agree with his authoritarian stance? It's not just me, several people in this thread have seen his statements as supporting a police state. He is on record supporting stop and frisk. He has suggested placing a police officer on every corner of certain neighborhoods (though he can't seem to decide on definitions) Stick up for it if you want, but your stamp of approval is hardly an indication that he's not an authoritarian. I agree with you on one thing, though. He was indeed clear. He just doesn't want to own the full meaning of what he said.
There is no authoritarian stance, you mongoliod miracle of fucking nature. ...on board supporting stop and frisk...
I'd like him to respond directly to my posts, instead of continuing to act like a giant pussy. I must have really gotten under his skin back in the day for him to be this scared of me.
But as for your local drug dealer, he gets a free pass, right? How else are you going to get your pot? Unless you grow your own. Do you grow your own Albert? I just want to be clear that what you're talking about is the inner city, right? The "hood rats" (re: minorities) are the ones that need cracking down on, right? But drug dealers in the suburbs of Nebraska, supplying pasty white guys with dope, that's cool, huh?
Man this place used to be less of a leftist collective. We need some of those conservative voices back.
Disappointingly? A common misconception is that the cities with larger populations have the highest murder rates. New York City, for example, has a population of 8.39 million people but with 300 murders and a murder rate of 3.4 in 2017, it doesn’t even make it into the top 50 cities. The twenty cities in the United States with the highest murder rates (murders per 100,000 people) are: St. Louis, MO (69.4) Baltimore, MD (51.1) New Orleans, LA (40.6) Detroit, MI (39.7) Cleveland, OH (33.7) Las Vegas, NV (31.4) Kansas City, MO (31.2) Memphis, TN (27.1) Newark, NJ (25.6) Chicago, IL (24) Cincinnati, OH (23.8) Philadelphia, PA (20.2) Milwaukee, WI (20.0) Tulsa, OK (18.6) Pittsburgh, PA (18.4) Indianapolis, IN (17.7) Louisville, KY (17.5) Oakland, CA (17.1) Washington D.C. (17.0) Atlanta, GA (16.7)
Mayor Giulian (and Kerik)i cut the murder rate from more than 2,000 per year to about 600. Few thought it could get any lower - then Bloomberg got murders down to a (decades) record low 300 or so per year.
You texted this, right? Speaking of... Indian drivers will answer and make cell phone calls while weaving around bikes, scooters, rickshaws, and lorries on busy ass two lane highways like it's nothing. Lorry in the way, straddling the center line trying to pass a scooter? Fuck it, pass them in the oncoming lane, and oncoming traffic will just take the shoulder.
