We had to re-register because Borgs and Cass switched from some other platform to vbulletin, without user or data migration. That's why it all reset. The current board included a migration tool, so it displays info from Wordforge 2.x, even though we are now on 3.x.
Are you still trying to make you mind yo which bottle of liqueur to but tonight as well? Actually no, I suspect you've made the decision already....
Bu bud light is nasty and so is bud. When you see someone drinking bud, bud light, or straight vodka, you know they are at rock bottom.
Nothing wrong with Bud or straight vodka. Both have their place when it comes to drinking. The issue isn't so much choice of hooch, but quantity consumed. I'm pretty sure that's why EP has the reputation that he does.
Speaking of beer, why has Diacanu never told me of Shipyard brand beer? I just had their chocolate mint flavor, and that was amazing! I actually thought it was a local brand because of the name and this store I bought it from sold many craft beers there, but it's made in Portland, Maine. Good stuff, that.
And if he did, I think he'd drink beer, not some chocolate mint shit masquerading as the real thing. That said, I've been to the Shipyard brewery, and their normal beers are quite good.
Someone told me this the other day... "You know why Budweiser sells the most beer?" (pause) "They have the biggest horses." Sorry, but all the mainstream American beers (Bud, Coors, Pabst, etc.) are crap. They're just awful. Yes, they're mildly refreshing if they're ice cold and you've spent the afternoon in the hot sun mowing the lawn. But, really, you can do much, much better. A co-worker recently turned me on to Belgium trappist-style beer and, let me tell you, THAT is some good beer. It's the best thing to come out of Belgium since Hercule Poirot.
I just discovered Hoegaarden at a beer on the pier thing my ship had while in Port Hueneme a couple weeks back. I try to go for lighter colored beer, and that didn't disappoint
Belgian beers are very good! I also really enjoyed some of the so-cal craft beers last year, particularly when I got to San Diego and they have so many different choices on tap.
One of the things I miss about the East Coast is that Yuengling is the same price point and availability as The Big Three over there. For a cheap massed produced beer it is miles better. Coors recently started offering a knockoff on the West Coast called Batch 19 with the subtitle Pre-prohibition Lager. It's a straight up Yuengling knockoff, but unlike Yuengling it's priced as a low to mid range microbrew and can only be found in a couple of places.
'Course ya did. Because you're not a person. But I've got a little present for ya. See if you can guess what kind of cup this is:
I bought a Hoegarden tonight! It was part of a "build your own six pack" of fancy beer deals at Publix Grocery and this was one of my choices. Anywho, I joined WF when it was in it's infancy apparently, in November 2004. I was convalescing from getting a tumor and some of my organs removed. I was sitting around at home on drugs collecting a paycheck with plenty of time on my hands. I came across WF via researching something, and Mewa was the first member to interact with me if I remember right.
I wasn't part of the original migration here, but I followed a banned Enterprise critic here and came to see his review of the finale (that he never wrote, cuz he got married shortly after and dropped off from posting six months after that). I stayed because the first time I entered the Red Room, I wad fasinated at how PBM getting Face banned was worth a 700 post discussion.
I do not wish to waste my time trying to deny a perception that merely gives people with no real lives a rise. Last week I worked 96 hours and I am still taking college classes and just got another A. I work hard and play hard. I ride a motorcycle to work and face death every day. I live how I live and those who pass judgement need to take a look at themselves and their perfect lives in the mirror.
