Anonymous recently hacked the KKK's website and got their hands on a lot of data including who their dues paying members are. They are currently releasing the names and home addresses of thousands of KKK members included in the dump is the fact that four Republican members of the US Senate are in fact fully paid members of the KKK. http://m.dailykos.com/story/2015/11...tors-outed-as-members-of-the-KKK-by-Anonymous
Hmmm......if the KKK is a "secret society" then why do they even have an electronic or physical "paper trail" that can be hacked or stolen? That's hardly smart security or management. Not saying this isn't true, but I would like a few more sources.
Like any other organization they need to know where to mail the membership bill not to mention much of their value to politicians is their mailing lists. That is probably why conservatives pander to them. Their ability to get out the bigot vote.
You do know Dinner that the KKK (or any organization) can add a person to their membership rolls at will? IIRC there were instances of people registering politicians with organizations they were opposed to many times. For example registering a conservative with the American Civil Liberties Union or a gun control advocate with the National Rifle Association.
I wondered who'd be the first to claim this was exaggerated and, anyway, not true... And how does Dayton know they can "add anyone to their list at will"?
And wanting more facts or sources before forming an opinion is a bad thing? I generally try to find more sources on your "gunz r bad" threads.
Four Senators have been outed by Anonymous: Thom Tillis (R-NC) John Cornyn (R-TX) (Majority Whip of the US Senate) Johnny Isakson (R-GA) Dan Coats (R-IN) Several mayors have been outed as well. I know John Cornyn is the senior senator from Texas and the Republican whip in the Senate so he is part of the Republican leadship. I would have to look up the others. Dan Coats styles himself as a tea partier.
Jesus Christ. Are you really trying to claim the mother fucking Ku Klux Klan is not a racist organization?
I am sure he would have told us the KKK is a great Southern institution which was misunderstood and slandered by those damn Yankees! But we do have Dayton to tell us how KKK members are not bigots.
This is a concern, and if it is the case then this leak will be proven to be quite irresponsible. If on the other hand, they are actually KKK members, then I think that these people have serious questions to answer.
Just randomly, four Republican senators have been added to the membership database, but no others. Yeah, seems legit....
It is certainly possible that Anonymous have an axe to grind here. It isn't unknown for them to behave very badly.
It has only been out for a few hours. I suspect the larger media will eventually pick up on it after they do their usual fact checking.
http://thehill.com/policy/cybersecurity/258832-anonymous-kicks-off-alleged-kkk-unmasking The KKK wants to have a March (with hoods on, of course) to protest their membership names being released.
Byrd was a southern conservative who started his career in the 1950's. These are current conservatives today still in office and still members of the klan.
I'm going to need more than a list of names. More proof is needed. Credit card statements, emails, stuff like that. This list also has several mayors on it. Like Mayor Jim Gray of Lexington whose openly gay. I don't remember the KKK a rainbow division. Mayor Madeline Anne Rogero of Knoxville marched in the past with Cesar Chavez. Have a hard time thinking she's a klan dope. Worst part of this is that idiots like Dinner will believe it even if it's not true.
http://usuncut.com/politics/anonymous-unhoods-kkk-prominent-politicians/ More info including which mayors are members of the KKK. Gray has so far been the only senator to respond and he denies being a member (of course he does). The other three have been dodging reporters.
That link you posted leaves out the fact that Gray is gay. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Gray_(American_politician) He announced it in 2005. I mean I guess it could be a gay guy in the klan. Stranger things have happened. But Anonymous has no credit with me. I want more proof other then a list of names.
