I can tolerate a lot to prevent Hillary Clinton getting a chance to load the Supreme Court with liberal picks.

But I just can't abide both the nominee and VP having four divorces between them. Several of them pretty sordid for that matter.

And I loathe Gingrich nearly as much as Trump anyway.

I'm fairly certain that by the time the election rolls around, you'll find some justification to vote for Trump. The idea of a woman with her finger on The Button scares you too much for you to do otherwise.

That's the latest rumor. How true it is, I dunno. I can't see Newt being willing to play second fiddle to someone who's a bigger gas bag than he is.

I have no problems with a woman and her "finger on The Button".

I have a lot of problems with Hillary Clinton having her finger there.

That's just it. I mean I did read that he and Christie were on the short list, but I can't imagine the egos of Gingrich and Trump co-existing. It makes me think the rumor is either ill-founded or intentional misdirection.

Given your statements about women and combat, I find this impossible to believe.

    We've noticed.

    Ordering a nuclear strike

    1) Which will probably never happen
    2) Doesn't involve pushing a button anyway

    3) Is not what would call "combat".

Geez, of all the reasons not to vote for either, you go with this one? Trump being an absolute embarrassment yo the office wasn't reason enough?

1.) But if you can't trust a woman to handle an M-16, how can you trust a woman with nuclear weapons?

2.) As President, she'll be under constant threat of assassination, probably moreso, since she's a woman and a Clinton.

3.) And given that you don't even like the idea of women being in as safe as an environment as a fictional starship, I fail to see why you'd like the idea of a woman being in the real White House any better.

    1) U.S. nuclear weapons are under "Dual Key" control.

    2) So? No U.S. president has been assassinated in 53 years. No U.S. president has been wounded in an attempt in 35 years. Several attempts against Clinton and Bush produced nary a scratch.

    3) I don't like it any better. But if we have to endure the loathsome Hillary Clinton for four years then sometimes a nation must suffer for its sins.

Star Trek survived Janeway for seven years. The United States could probably survive Hillary for just over half that.

If he picked a reliable conservative like Rubio or Kasek that we could count on to take over when Trump dies or steps down and would be a solid promoter of conservative causes and values I could vote for him.

Yeah, I got that, but divorce is hardly a reason to dismiss a candidate, no matter how routinely such this are used to piss on a candidate....and I think it's pretty telling that no one's tried using that against him, nor Hilary's decision to stay with Bill after his infamous affair with Lewinsky when it was the first question at every interview in 2008.

And if she picks a woman to be her Secretary of Defense?

And, you don't think that being surrounded by armed guards 24/7 and suddenly getting whisked out of a location because the SS spotted something they didn't like, or having to stare at crowds of people through inches of bullet proof glass isn't stressful? And that this doesn't impair one's judgement?

God's punishment on us for legalizing gay marriage, eh? Wonder what these guys did.

No self-respecting human being wants to be associated with Trump. That you mention Rubio and Kasich as potential running mates shows how far from understanding reality you are. Rubio's the one who started the whole "Trump's got a little dick" flap, and Kasich plotted with Cruz to try and bump Trump out of the lead (until Cruz shafted Kasich and picked Fiorina to be his running mate). Trump picking either of those two to be his running mate, would be like you picking me to be your running mate for President.

My parents would never vote for anyone who had been divorced. Not even Ronald Reagan. I'm more flexible on this but multiple divorces, including as I said some pretty sordid ones is too much for even me.

Naturally no one makes a big deal about this because they don't want to offend tens of millions of divorced voters.

More like Trump has been such a complete assclown that his antics on the campaign trail have managed to eclipse a factoid that in any other campaign would've been front and center bashing material by the DNC.

OTOH, if Trump gets elected, the RNC will have to retire that "family values" canard as a selling point, because as you said, he's met every wife by cheating on the one before.

It should probably just make you think that Gingrich and Trump are idiots, which you should probably think anyway.

Personally, I'm holding out hope that Trump picks Paul LePage to run for the Veep slot. I can't imagine any more entertaining choice.

Women actually tended to do better at marksmanship than men and the physical reason was they had less muscle in their upper bodies. Men have more muscle and that means bigger veins so each heart beat actually shakes a man's arm more than a woman's arm. Proper marksmanship is about holding the rifle steady so anything which reduces shake made for a better marksman (or woman).

I used to kind of, sort of, but not really cheat (because tgere was no rule against it) by putting a v-notch shape in a sandbag figuring the sand is less likely to shake or move than my hand. I would put my right hand (I am left handed) on the top of the rifle to keep it on place and pull it snug into my shoulder. That improved the distance accuracy of my marksmanship.

I hear a lot of state sponsored radio ads on my commute about how violence against women is never okay. Apparently SJWs think violence against women is fine in the context of equality on the battlefield?
