I tried to chip in some money for a political campaign in garamet's name. But they want to know where to send the "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" hat and I don't have a good shipping address.
If your cardboard box under the freeway doesn't have an address, you could always rent a mailbox at UPS or USPS.
Or you could find her. She says she lives in Santa Monica or Venice but has no car. We also know she would shop only at Whole Foods. Using bus routes and google maps we should be able to narrow down her neighborhood pretty quickly.
I know it is a joke but the stalker stuff isn't funny. Oh a different note living in greater L. A. without a car does not sound like fun.
I'm guessing the staff won't let Flashy out of his restraints this weekend, so the Fox is filling in for him. What I've said in the past- which of course Face misconstrued (though not as badly as the Whole Foods thing) - is that I don't drive. That doesn't mean I can't get anywhere I want to go in this part of the world...not something that Face can understand.
Summing up, though, it's clear @Volpone's thread title is a cry for help. What can the WF community do to reach out to this tragic individual?
Yes, very much this, so knock it off, @Volpone. It's actually not that hard if you are intentional about it. Santa Monica is an especially decent place to make that work, and keep in mind, Garamet's occupation means no commute.
From Santa Monica: Expo line to 7th and Flower; Red or Purple line to Union Station; Dodger Stadium Express shuttle to the game.
Why would I want to go to Dodger Stadium? I shop at Whole Foods as often as I go to Dodger Stadium, which is to say: Not at all. Next?
If you get a thrill from sitting in an uncomfortable seat surrounded by beer-swilling yobs squinting at the outfield and slathered in sunblock, be my guest. To be honest, I was a fan of the Reggie Jackson era Yankees. The interest has faded over the years. I have other interests now. Shall we start a whole 'nother thread about baseball, or can we go back to making fun of Volpone?
uh... ok... I generally don't follow sports, but I'd much rather see a game of baseball at the stadium than on TV. Football's hit or miss, though. Also, aren't you from Brooklyn? That should make you prefer the Dodgers over them damn Yankees
The Dodgers left Brooklyn when I was seven. My grandfather was a Yankees fan. He taught me about the game. Not bad for a Newfie transplant. Pity a friend of mine who's been a Mets fan from the beginning but also loves the Dodgers. Watching them play each other gives her migraines.
