No. The entire board voted to get rid of you.....after the very same board recommended the steps you failed to carry out. Get your head out of your bloody arse and see the wood for the trees.
So? The board responded to a threat to lose a near million dollar grant. Big surprise. I find it difficult to believe that with all you intelligence and experience plus your regular trips to the U.S. you have no idea how small towns work. And the board had nothing whatsoever to do with the steps you claimed I "failed to carry out". The school board doesn't deal with issues at that level of detail. But of course you will not believe me.
Either you are lying (doubtful as you are a good christian), you don't understand what actually happened (probable as you are an idiot), or your little part of the world is as corrupt as Nigeria. If the grant has been won then its won. If said person killed it, there is an auditable trail combined with her direct comments threatning the people who fired you. The school may still lose the grant dependant on what she did/uncovered, but she would 100% lose her job in the aftermath. Do you really think she is going to carry out a threat that makes her both unemployed and most likely unemployable when news of what she did leaks out? The likely scenario is the super who fired your ass and told you this knew you were gullible and spun you a nice yarn. Lets face it, if there was an actual threat of this happening you could sue the arse out the school district for both constructive dismissal and for participating in practices that essentially equate to blackmail.
He's talking about the ConnectED grant, where Apple provides iPads, Macs, and Apple TV to the schools. The students get iPads, teachers get iPads and Macs. They are given to the school, and it is backed by the FCC to provide high speed internet to the schools and to the general population. Part of the provision by the FCC is to draft a plan to provide 100 million people in the U.S. download speeds of 100mbs. So essentially for the teacher to kill it would mean that Apple would take back the iPads and computers and to kill the high speed internet access. So yeah, Dayton was shit canned for being an autistic fuck up. The "Kill the Grant" is probably him not understanding what was said to him. How bad would Apple look if it pulled what it already gave to a school?
Even if I believed that someone would kill such an important grant over one teacher they don't like....you saw how the board voted, right? Unanimous on two issues and an overwhelming majority on the others. If you were anywhere near competent, do you think she'd have been gunning for you to be sacked? Or that someone would have stuck up for you at some point?
I see @Dayton3 has been back to the board since, and is deliberately avoid this post. Not surprising, given that he's lying again....
Dayton I think you have a strong wrongful termination case. If what you say is true, you should file suit immediately so that more public records of your ineptitude are documented.
The Apple Grant infrastructure began installation in the fall semester of 2015 six months after I was dismissed. The actual equipment still hasn’t been delivered to students and teachers to this day. I supposed I angered the woman a great deal since I told her to her face that I didn’t respect her abilities or believe anything she said. That as far as I could tell she had no regard for the abilities of veterans teachers and didn’t’ respect their work. And that she was an advocate of half assed teaching methodologies that had not been proven to work. That she was a fad follower whose wasn’t competent to judge the work of others in the classroom. But her final evaluation of me was quite good and I also showed her the VCR tape of my Walmart commercial many years ago. By any reasonable measure I tried to get along with her. Incidentally, she herself could not have killed the grant. But the board and other school officials worried that she could. In regards to competent people losing their jobs. Van Pascal in 2005 became head football coach of Monticello High School. Within three years he rebuilt a mediocre team and won the state title with a near perfect season. In the following spring semester his pay was cut from $85,000 to $60,000 and he was basically told to leave. So, he creates a championship team, wins a title, very definition of “competent” yet the school runs him off anyway. For the absolutely most ridiculous of reasons. His son made the All District team.
And this is why you're lying... You were being investigated as long ago as 2012. Remember how you dismissed all this when it was posted after you gave permission? Remember how you boasted you "manhandled" Bill Brazil during this time? Look, this is for you own bloody good Dayton. Doesn't it occur to you that if I have access to this (all public record) so do your potential employers? You're pitching up at interviews and telling them you were sacked because of an Apple grant. They go on the internet and so someone continually investigated for incompetence. If you were in an interviewer's shoes, would you hire such a person? I wouldn't. Head out of arse please Dayton. PLEASE. For your own damned good.
What Chup said. Even if you were 100 percent certain you were right, no one bashes their employer at an interview. That's just tacky, at best. Not that it matters because yu have a long list of burned bridges from no less than four different schools in the last 12 years. @Chuck has only ever taught at one school in his entire career. @Nova taught school and resigned without being fired. I'm gonna assume your sisters weren't bouncing around the state either, and they're dealing with every stupid methodology and fad that you are. Your chickens are coming home to roost. Better pull the magazines out the coop.
Actually, this is very important. @Chuck is very subtle, but I have noticed that he generally agrees with any criticism of Dayton's impressions of his profession. Chuck will always remain the quiet legend of WF. He's such a top man. Never succumbing to the pettiness that the rest of us do. I know him on FB. When Chuck thinks your full of shit, Surely that's when you must take notice?
Can @Dayton3 explain what is "dumb" about this post? Does he have the guts to prove he has a legitimate reason for avoiding this post for the hours that he's continued posting?
I left Strong because I wanted to. Didn't like the daily drive. I’ve never trashed a former employer at an interview. The closest I came to doing that was recounting how the former Strong superintendent ordered me to keep track of my female students menstrual cycles.
Um, no. You're lying and refusing to address the reason why, choosing instead to neg rep as if that means you win. I've PM'd you about this, as I think you're really harming yourself.
I don't know all the details of Dayton's case, but some legislative bodies (ahem, city councils) tend to vote with one dissenter in order to show unity and (I suppose) prevent something from being considered still up for debate because it was only marginally passed.
You got the first letter right, but that's all. It's Pepper. Red Box Chili Pepper. Shaken. Not shtirred.
So she remained professional and courteous, after 'you' who had already been placed on probation or an improvement program, which you were unable to pass questioned abilities. Ask yourself why do you continue to have problems. Backpedaling again. And you know this how?
Why he was forced to leave? Amy's sister in law told me. She is a long time teacher in that school and a member of one of the oldest, most influential families in the town. Check out FearlessFriday if you doubt it.
