Alas, @gul is more interested in this thread because he hates it when I point out his insufferable pride. But whattayagunnado? I do find it amusing that @Dayton3 is now avoiding the other thread. I've not done "owning his ass" yet, but if he had the gust to see it through he'd see that I was eventually trying to make a very important point that I think is in his best interests.
If only @Dayton3 spent this much of his time and energy on being good at his job, or really any job. It's a shame to see his autistic talents wasted on cataloging who whines about rep rather than, say, counting buttons for a seamstress or using his retard strength to bend steel.
Seriously though, no way could Dayton do either of these jobs without messing up. He'd be too busy telling his bosses why the number of buttons is stupid and explaining why he couldn't work the steel bending machine properly.
I know it is hard to tell, but I think Dayton is just having a laugh at you guys with this thread. I don't think it's meant to be serious at all. This is actually a positive development. After all this time Dayton is learning how to effectively troll others and have a sense of humor about the stupid stuff that people argue about here. You have all been pwned.
Oh yes, because people thinking about anothers' "best interests" routinely used insults, denigration, and condescention to get their "best interest points" across. I would prefer you simply stopped responding to anything I posted and be done with the matter. But look at the bright side. You've been solidly ahead in this poll almost from the start. Despite multiple votes being allowed.
Solidly ahead in a poll that only consists of thise you cherry picked based on who you think gives you a hard time. A man who doesn't have the guts to put his own name in such a poll immediately invalidates said poll.
Why should I? 1) I don't bitch and moan about POSITIVE reps. you do. 2) I don't bitch and moan about rep given to a third party. You do.
Rep got fancy while I was gone! I like all the little smilies to pick from. But I do miss being able to leave a message in rep because a lot of times I don't have anything meaningful to add to the thread and I'm too lazy to write a PM just to be like - hey, how's the family?, etc.
Yeah, rep comments... the board software doesn't allow them. John did his best. I still miss a "goint point!"- or "excellent post!"-smiley in the rep comments. Often I do not really agree with a viewpoint, but very good input is offered which makes me think and see things from a new, different perspective. Rick, Packard and Chup are good examples for writing this kind of posts.
Yeah, I missed that, too, but this is a good compromise and we still on occassion get lulzy rep threads like this without it becoming the only topic discussed. A win for everyone.
