You're looking at it very superficially. That she was born to a Muslim academic doesn't mean she is overly religious, if at all. Same for Weiner and his pro-Israel stance...and even if they both do practice their religions, mature people are able to have love and relationships without having to follow the same religion. YOu think there are no Jews married to Catholics, not Christians married to Muslims, no atheists married to religious people, and so on?
