Predator is really too strong a term and is used too casually. It was wrong when used for President Clinton as well.

He doesn't seem to have actually caught anything (except flak, finally).

Normal men inherently hunt for sexual partners. All of them. If they do not then there is something wrong with them.

Yeah, however normal men who were raised right do know not to grunt and leer at women, suggest they buy vibrators, tell them they'd like to shower with them and do stuff with a loofah, or call them "Hot Chocolate" if they happen to be black.

It is a big mistake to equate what used to be called "boorish behavior" with criminality.

It's nature. When you are married you suppress that nature.

And you've only ever been with your Latina wife, supposedly.

So what? Not all men are looking for a partner. Nor are all women. That doesn't mean it's not natural to hunt for mates.

Really? How did you ever get the idea that my wife is the only woman I've ever been with? I never said that.

I thought you mentioned that I'm a different thread about celebrity crushes. I must have misinterpreted, but it's an easy mistake given your devout Catholic beliefs. You'd never go against your morals :soholy:

Perhaps. But the nature to hunt for mates is still there. Once married, it's up to them whether they continue to act on it.

The point is, if you're a single normal dude you're out there competing for chicks. If you're married then you suppress that nature out of love and respect for your wife.

Is someone who's paid multiple women multiple millions of dollars for sexual harassment a sexual predator? I'm going to go with yes.

The word partners implies a mutually beneficial relationship, even if only a short-term one. Whether or not the predatory behavior is normal, as you say, is irrelevant. It's normal for the cat to hunt the mouse; that doesn't make the mouse his dining partner.

From international trade, to sex, to sports trades, partnerships are clearly not all mutually beneficial. That's fantasy land, not reality.

That's the intent, if not always the ultimate outcome. You seem like a very unscrupulous person, who probably sees nothing wrong in taking advantage of anybody foolish enough to believe you'll keep your word.

It's not about keeping one's word. It's about getting the best deal possible for whatever deal is on the table. Sometimes that even involves weakening the other person's outcome. It's not unscrupulous. It's how the world works.

Be careful or that mindset will be the death of you. It's one thing to pump yourself up to go in to a negotiation, but to always be so guarded and so willing to assume the worst in everyone.....

A scientist at heart, it's in my nature to be skeptical and hyper focused on the facts. But the constant risk vs reward calculation at the expense of everything else really isn't good for you. It wears at your soul.

    *checks who I'm responding to*

Oh never mind - you're good. Happy hunting! :D

I'm not one by trade...it's just how my mind works. My undergrad degree is Neuroscience (chem minor). Currently thinking about pharmacy school vs. getting a phd in experimental pharmacology.

For some reason, phd programs love me but med schools and pa programs want nothing to do with me. :weep:
