Yeah. Just off hand in an unrelated matter I said homosexuals were sexual deviants. Apparently one of the administrators there is a homosexual and he took offense to it.

    Imagine that.

I was big into conventional World War Three (late 1980s, early 1990s) scenarios. With the U.S. led NATO forces being victorious of course. But I don't think I created any timelines of my own.

So... In order for a tax cut as big as the House version to pay for itself the national economy would have to grow at an average of 6%-8% nonstop for an entire decade. This is the conclusion of not less than five different economics departments.

To compare they all agree any extra growth caused by these tax changes would be from 0.01% to 0.005%. Republicans are bad at math as well as economics.

Don't economists consistently underestimate potential GDP growth? After all, after the Reagan tax cuts in the early 1980s the GDP growth topped 6% at some points IIRC.

No, no, they do not. One month or one quarter does not make a ten year average, dolt.

No but a quarter does show the potential exists.

As a friend of mine is fond of saying (usually about untalented or unmotivated people), sometimes the potential is the pinnacle.

Another idea if I were President - as well as greatly increasing funds for our military I would spend heavily on economic growth.

Paid for by cutting funding for abortion services and food stamps of course.

For a sustained average continously for an entire decade? No. Just no.

Well, except for the fact they couldn't organize a threeway if they had Jack Harkness, Frank-N-Furter, Oberyn Martell and Samantha Jones locked in a room together.

Are you suggesting there would be almost no need for EBT if corporations paid living wages?

Much like a significant percentage of police officers, a lot of people go into teaching because they enjoy telling other people what to do.

It does explain your willingness to force your spouse to have sex against her will, though.

You do realize that rape is one person imposing their will on another person, don't you? Because the rapist wants to have sex, while the victim does not. Or, to put it another way, ISIS wants to impose their version of morality on people and you are saying that they have every right to do so.
