I find social media to be self advertising. There is a purpose for that if you are making money and need advertising. I have mostly even stopped bothering with facebook. It is mostly slogans and memes with no substance. The only reason I still have a facebook account is the couple of game sites I log onto with it.

The article I read on the BBC said that the Trump Administration is claiming that they were invoking this clause because Russia was non-compliant anyway. You're in a Catch-22 here. I don't really believe the Trump admin, but I wouldn't be surprised if Russia was non-compliant either. So, I'm waiting for more evidence before I really figure out an opinion on this one.

In the past 14 years, though, the internet has grown leaps and bounds. Search engines, for example, are far more complex, and reach everywhere, and by search engines I mean Google. What could be said in the dark in a remote corner of the internet is now made available to the light of day, and for all to observe and comment upon. I feel it's not unreasonable to curb the more excessive posts, like where one might post an image of a hanging person of color, and directly reference another member of the board, threatening them with the same punishment.
