I've been checking out the Pre Black Friday specials for the last week or so, did buy some small appliances in the last week, my only actual Black Friday purchase has been this, which I did online. Have you bought anything, or planning to buy anything?
For Black Friday? No. All of my gift shopping is done, and I don't buy anything on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
I bought a 49" TV a couple of days ago as there was a reduction. The old one was 42", wasn't smart and had a line down the right hand-side of the picture, so time for it to be retired.
I’m going to keep my eye out for any good online deals on Friday and Mondat but don’t have any plans to buy unless it’s something my family or I can really use. I’ve done zero holiday shopping at this point.
I have the Playbar with two Play 1's and a sub in the living room, and then I have several One's throughout the house, in the Master Bedroom I have the Beam I'm going to the a Sub and two Play 1's either later this month or in December. They sound great.
I bought a couple smaller tools to complete my car kit (after the camping trip from hell, I have built a separate tool kit that lives in the Flex. Never again will I be knelt down at 10 p.m. next my trailer in bumfuck nowhere and realize that the tool I thought was in the bag was instead on my bench, and then spend 6 hours buying a replacement and getting back on the road). Big items I am looking for: DeWalt 20v circular saw (bare tool) - This will finally allow me to retire my Porter Cable Ni-Cad set. All power tools will run on same batteries. DeWalt 20v jobsite fan (bare tool) - For camping. Kobalt 40v weedeater (bare tool) - Will allow me to retire my Black & Decker weed eater so all my yard tools will be on same battery system. Kobalt 40v chainsaw (bare tool) - Because chainsaw, duh. I have a Kobalt pole saw, but it is just a 6” blade and a bit unweldly.
I only have one gift still to find, and I might not have that if KJ's family didn't wait until Thanksgiving to draw names.
I got a Roomba the other day, but I don't know if it counts as a Black Friday purchase...I just used birthday money.
I wanted to buy a new phone, but all the verizon deals are only if you add the monthly fee instead of buying the phone outright.
Only tv I'd want is way too expensive and would never go on sale to the masses. Other than that I am looking for either a new XPS laptop. Monday I'll get into Christmas shopping online.
OKAY, FINE! Even though I am okay with batteries, if I have to take the free $75 battery to get $20 off the saw, FINE! https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCS39...=1542988991&sr=1-4&keywords=Circular+saw&th=1
I've been on the lookout for a new Android phone under $200, but I haven't seen anything I like. Most of them have screens larger than five inches, which is my limit.
I went out for coffee and decided that I needed some form of tank because black Friday Floriduh drivers are more dangerous than ever. I did not even make it near the shopping areas.
A lot of Georgians drive tanks - so I would need the next thing bigger than a tank if I were to brave any shopping areas around me! My Jetta might be a little undersized I think.
Shopko had $15 jeans but no apparent fitting rooms And a gift bag that was maybe too small for the gift I wanted to put in it So my only deal was the toddler dropping off before 9 PM Which is a two-hour savings these days
