Find me a real Christian who claims that. As for the signature, For the last few years, a moderator here @Tuckerfan has maintained questions in his signature mentioning me by name for the express point of trolling me. Despite the fact that I answered those questions of his years ago. If a moderator/administrator is allowed to use their signature like that then obviously a run of the mill member is also allowed to aren't they?
We can all agree you’re not. Unless youre using the redneck bible translation: “oh unto thee do as you would want unto others as you would be blessed in eternal everything and such and such. Sayeth Jesus go forth and troll those as you would want to be trolled! Alluah ackbar!”
Someone who lies to themselves about believing in the Bible is somehow superior to one who doesn't? Feigning piety is a moral virtue? I thought there were bits in the Bible saying how phony and hypocritical that is. Especially the Jesus-y bits.
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. -- Jesus
Christians are allowed to make non hypocritical judgements about others. I don't judge others regarding things I've been guilty of.
If you actually read anything I've posted over the years you would know that I do not like participating in public prayers. With the lone exception being in a house of worship. I opt out of leading any kind of prayer at football games for example. Most of my praying is at home alone.
First, you’re obviously not a Christian. Like you are possibly the fakest one I’ve ever seen. Second, I’m here to judge.
He's right. We've had precident on this matter before, and one notorious instance that should have been warned for but was aided and abetted by staff.
I've read enough of the Bible to know you're not a real one. You're a very hateful and mean spirited person. If I were you were and truly believed in God and Jesus, I would not behave the way you do. If Christ is real, you have a lot to fear when you die because your behavior does get mentioned and it had a bad end. Maybe you should actually read the Bible for once for your own sake.
Okay, well, I'm about 12% real Christian by weight. A real Christian wouldn't use that signature. All it can do is create division and create hurt feelings. Nobody on that list or off of it is going to be inspired to live their lives even a tiny bit better by seeing it. They'll just be less likely to listen to you on more important matters. Also consider that it echoes Sokar's sig, which was definitely not loving or kind, or useful in any way except to tell you what sort of person Sokar was. I haven't been following whether you answer those questions or not. You may have a valid point under the rules of the board. But under the rules of Jesus we aren't supposed to go in for tit-for-tat. And remember which set of rules supercedes the other.
Judging from his on @Mirah's post, the "good Christian" obviously believes kind thoughts are a bad thing.
