I mean, let's review the list of ridiculous aspects of his life that we know about. . Failing as a history teacher . Failing as a football coach . Being racist towards his black pupils/players . Beating his wife . Impersonating federal agents and drawing investigations . Failing to actualize his political aspirations . Wet-dreaming up scenarios to send other people's kids to war, although he never served himself . Being one of the thickest trolls on the Internet, and that's quite an accomplishment All for now.
I have an idea for a parody thread. Should I... a) create said parody thread? or b) talk about said parody thread in a different parody thread? Ball Dropped
That is more like @Dayton Kitchens box. It is much smaller, full of stupid, and only seems to effect WF.
Well, from what I know of the man, it's because his reach always exceeds his grasp. He's a man of average intelligence who believes he's a man of near-genius intellect. He makes lofty plans but then fails to go through the necessary steps in order to carry them out. He's a big picture guy who doesn't have time for the finer details. He bottles up his feelings until they boil over, and, largely due to his upbringing, it's a deep bottle, so when it DOES boil over it's an Irish-level temper tantrum. The reason why he doesn't do things in moderation is because he feels like he doesn't have to. He's special. He has dreams! He's going to do great things! He's going to be a head coach and lead his team to victory! He's going to be a President and make this world great for Jesus! He just wonders why Jesus hasn't made these things happen yet.
He writes clearly, he can do math, he has a college degree, I assume he took some sort of test of basic skills in order to be able to teach. He's of average intelligence but lacks self-awareness. Part of his delusion regarding his own intelligence is that most of his friends are below-average intelligence and he just happens to always be the smartest guy in the room.
Your posts have been fairly accurate except in this case. I have no friends currently. I have had as many as three in past times.
I am not going to post it as doing so would break my no crappycat thread policy. So instead I just provided one spam post to your crappycat thread.
If not "friends", then acquaintances, colleagues, etc. You're likely one of the smartest people in your circle of influence.
Perhaps but one thing I've learned is that there is always someone better than you. I do read a lot and always have and one thing I've learned is that learning a little about a wide range of subjects can make you seem far more intelligent than you actually are.
It's a wolverine. I used to have one on my classroom computer as a screensaver at Augusta. Amy substituted for me one day and altered my screensaver to name the wolverine "Happy".
I also liked that one of my football players last year said that I looked like (from behind at least) "Wolverine" from the comic book universe. Yeah, I didn't get it either.
