I have been looking forward to this day for 4 years. I have fully expected, throughout the time, with no exceptions, that Trump will lose. But even though that's what I expect, I know I could be wrong. I won't find out today. (When November 3 ends in France, polls will still be open even on the east coast.) But I'm very much hoping that the results will be so clear that tomorrow morning I will know if my hopes and expectations were in vain. If you see me on the board at a time that works out to 2 or 3 in the morning in France (6-hour time difference from NY, 9-hour time difference from CA), you'll know that I couldn't wait all night to try to find out which way the wind is blowing.
Guess there is some use in MSNBC starting their election coverage already. Try not to burn out before it's called.
We're 13-16 hours ahead of the US, so I imagine most of the office will have coverage going in the corner of their monitor when we arrive at work in the morning.
That’s gotta suck, knowing our election can have a big impact on your future but there’s not a fucking thing you can do to influence the outcome.
My Android ShitPhone can do anything an iPhone can do, except give me hipster cred and the status symbol of owning an iPhone. Otherwise they're essentially the same.
Cool, how do you do Live Photos on an Android? I was Android from 2011 to 2019 and went back to iPhone. Never could find a way to do Live Photos on Android.
Live photo is a function of the camera software and is dependent on the manufacturer, not the operating system. It's a 3 second mov video combined with a jpg that's only viewable on iphones. The version of android and phone I have (Motorola G7power/android 10, $160 unlocked through amazon) has a cinemagraphic picture option that makes your "live photo" look like kid stuff. Here's one I took out the winder just now. You select the areas of the photo you want still and moving and it saves it as a gif or mpg. I've lowered the quality for your puny viewing capability:
Eh, the point is that the PAC cannot accept the money. THEY are the ones that would be liable to face sanctions / punishment / consequences otherwise. Not that it would actually happen, but that's how it is on paper.
How american politics happens is a far cry from what's on paper. Fixed my gif issue, thanks for pointing it out.
I really like the way those cars beam in and beam out, but I suspect there is something funny going on. I get the impression that the same cars keep coming by over and over again. It's like Scotty has a short supply of them, and has to keep recycling the same ones. I just hope Dr. McCoy isn't in one of them. Having his atoms scrambled so many times would really worry him.
