    From what I could find, about 200 million people are eligible to vote. So:

    38% voted for Biden
    35% voted for Trump
    27% voted 3rd party or didn't vote.

    The actual number may be closer to 250 million, so, for practical purposes, about a third in each category. A significant amount voted for Trump, but it's still a minority. As for why a third voted Trump instead of just a handfull of MAGA zealots? Well, for one thing, there are 62 million eligible voters in this country who are Evangelical Christians. That probably accounts for at least 50 million of Trump's votes. Other than that, many probably had the "Democrats are socialist, and socialists are bad" mantra beat into their heads and grudgingly voted for what they felt was the lesser of two evils. Meh, the numbers make sense to me.

    *sigh* I'd feel a whole lot better about the Republican Party if they'd take the Evangelical's collective dick out of their mouths.

    Other than very isolated cases here and there involving a handful of ballots that were mishandled (which happens every election), so far he hasn't found any widespread fraud or evidence of any type of conspiracy.

    Now back on topic, I'm very relieved that Biden has won. It's a shame he's got to deal with the transition; it's going to be a slog to get enough turnout for the two GA special elections, and a president-elect campaigning could really help. But the country comes first.
