Because Joe Biden will probably get us there if the CIA has anything to say about it. They definitely thought Obama was their man. But wait there’s more. And you wonder why we don’t see much if anything about war in the MSM. Because they want it that way. What President just lost his incumbency, something that is rare in American politics unless you’re not at war, Trump. What President has bucked the trend of plunging us deeper into the war machine? That’s right, Donald Trump. No doubt the CIA wanted him out. Am I claiming voter fraud or there’s some sort of conspiracy, no. I think Biden won fair and square, but this would be good fuel to the fire for the conspiracy theorists. While Biden is not as charismatic as Obama, he’s putting a lot of the same people in his cabinet and will likely go along with whatever war the Military Industrial Complex wants. After all, the last President who tried to reign in the CIA ended up with his brains splatter in Dallas. https://greenwald.substack.com/p/a-long-forgotten-cia-document-from
Man this poor kid is like one more conspiracy away from becoming OAN's #1 fan When should we point out that Obama didn't start any wars, merely continued with what he inherited.....
I wonder what happened to Donnie's announced troop draw-down. Guess it'll be like the "beautiful health plan in two weeks" that he promised 3-4 months ago, or maybe the "wonderful vaccine" from Operation Warp Speed... any day now.
Not really, OAN is mindless, dangerous propaganda and the best thing we can do is just ignore them It's up to you at the end of the day though
What forever wars? Are there some thousands of years old wars I don't know about? If you're talking about Iraq and Afghanistan, I mean your shithole country fucked everything up there and probably owe it to those countries to try and restore some normalcy there. If you leave then there's a good chance those nations probably devolve into bigger hellholes than they already are. On the other hand, the Middle East eating itself probably wouldn't be the worst thing to happen to this planet...... Gee, maybe you should have listened when people said don't invade Iraq based on obvious, shitty lies. Instead I'm sure you were there beating the old march to war drum, dreaming of the day when you'd be finally old enough to vote for George Bush
Despite his campaign rhetoric Trump did not actually end any wars. Instead he buddied up with neocons like Pompeo and pushed us closer to war with Iran. And despite his pre-campaign tweets about our crooked dealings with Saudi Arabia he continued to deal with them and probably profited from those deals on a personal level too. I don’t expect any better from Biden on that regard, to be fair. But when it comes to being anti-war there are only a few on each side who buck the consensus (Tulsi, Bernie, Rand Paul).
Whelp I was hoping you’d actually want a real discussion and not just troll today, but you’re never going to do that are you? You’ll never stop. You’re Zod and you need your neck broken. Because I can’t do that, I’ll just stop engaging with you. And for the I don’t know how many times now, I didn’t vote for Bush either time and I was old enough and registered to vote and vote in bot 2000 and 2004 so you can shove that right up your ass.
This is a pretty routine part of what the CIA does, reporting on how U.S. policy is perceived in other countries. Of course the America haters and conspiracy kooks will try to make it seem nefarious.
Since you didn’t read the OP, it’s not a conspiracy, there’s a memo that proves what is said in the article is true.
He's not trolling, at least in the substance of his posts. You've been in virtually non stop wars for a long time, so what is there to "get ready" for? You're already there. It's seemingly part and parcel of being an empire. Yes, you've a hell of a lot to answer for in the Middle East but that's not the whole story and there are a lot of vested interests, power plays, fragile egos, national posturing and general human shitiness to go around us all for the foreseeable. Which, funnily enough, is one reason amongst many I'm not sold on this artificial and socially enforced worship of your military.
Nothing was subverted, at least according to this document. It’s all pretty speculative. Again, part of why we have the CIA, to tell us how people in other countries – allied or otherwise –might react to changes in U.S. policy.
Even if you discount Syria/ISIS as part of Iraq fallout, there’s still Yemen, Cameroon, Uganda, and Libya. Obama was no shrinking violet when it came to foreign troop deployment.
The dude could deploy some drones that's for sure! And green lighting the Osama Bin Laden raid was a good call. I'm thinking Smokin' Joe Biden would have scratched the Navy SEALS mission and just had mental health crisis counselors shoot Bin Laden in the leg....with an airsoft gun!
Christ on a crutch. You'd be hard pressed to find a President less likely to get us into a war. Joe ain't got time for that shit.
No you didn’t. I know this because you posted in the Red Room on Wordforge.net, one of the few places in the universe in which “a real discussion” is virtually guaranteed not to happen.
Because you don't seem to understand the function of the CIA, or wargames scenarios, or intel in general. You seem to believe "Let's discuss the possible parameters" means "Let's start a war." Kind of like when the GWB administration AND the Obama administration laid out a detailed pandemic plan, and the Trump administration shitcanned it because "it'll never happen because we're gonna build a Big Beautiful Wall to keep the immigrantsgerms out."
You had me going until these lines. I thought you actually believed the stuff you were typing, but you slipped up. Nice attempt at a troll, 5 out of 10.
Yep. The US has been "at war" of varying degrees for the majority of its existence. Around 90%+ of the time. To pretend otherwise is disingenuous or ignorant. And we all know how much Federal Farmer prides himself as being a history buff, so he's being disingenuous.
I understand the CIA’s role. I don’t trust them and there’s plenty of reason not to. This is just one of many examples of why, not including the OP. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timber_Sycamore
Fact: Kennedy wanted to reign in the CIA and didn’t trust them. Fact #2 : Kennedy was killed in Dallas. Do you dispute these two facts?
