Was he sitting in the front seat of the limo? Probably not. I feel it would be hard for him to grab the steering wheel from the back of the limo while wrestling a SS officer

Even earlier than that. It started not long after Foster died in 1993.

It's quite clear that Trump knew there would be violence, that the mob would be armed, tried to get metal detectors removed because "They weren't there to hurt him"...nice to know you can overlook that sort of stuff and focus on one bit of information that might be disprovable. So if, you don't believe her, why do you think she lied?

Let’s see, we know she scrubbed her server, and not with a cloth. That was a criminal act that the FBI simply chose not to prosecute her on. We know she lied about Benghazi and blamed it on a YT video despite the fact that Ambassador Stevens was killed. She delayed an order to for troops to go into the Embassy to save the ambassador. Her campaign hired a former British spy to make up Russian collusion and used the FBI to lie to the FISA court to obtain a warrant to spy on Trump’s campaign, and some how Vince Foster shot himself in the back of the head.

The autopsy report and the reports of the pathologists retained by the OIC and Mr. Fiske's Office demonstrate that the cause of death was a gunshot wound through the back of Mr. Foster's mouth and out the back of his head. The autopsy photographs depict the wound in the back of the head, and the photographs show the trajectory rod through the wound. The evidence, including the photographic evidence, reveals no other trauma or wounds on Mr. Foster's body. LINK

If you catch that white rabbit, Alice... sorry, Federal Fuckwit, dibs on the legs - I'm watching the Hairy Bikers cooking show and hankering to experiment.

I'd ask for some herbs too but I think you smoked all those.

Surprised he's here - Tucker Carlson just told his listeners to delete all their emails and texts daily, so you'd figure he'd be off purging.

Of course, he also thinks we can't remember his history here so likely he figures he can put any criminal charges off by pointing to one post from 2013 where he said Obama wasn't too bad.

It should be. Taken at face value:

    1. It shows that Trump was not afraid of the mob he had whipped up.
    2. It shows that Trump was in fact eager to lead the mob, or at least, bask in its actions firsthand.
    3. It shows that he was not willing to listen to or respect the people whose job it was to keep him safe.
    4. It shows that he was in fact willing to put hands on a member of the Secret Service.

Can one imagine any other president in history acting this way and not be shocked?

He was in one of the armored Suburbans, like this one. Not the stretch limo, which has a partition between the driver and the passenger area.

Yes I can, Nixon, and Andrew Jackson come to mind immediately. Though they probably wouldn’t be so overt about it. I also hear Grant had a temper.

I don't know about Jackson, but Nixon definitely would not attempt to take the wheel of a vehicle he was in and force it to go to the site of a mob he had stirred up. He was too smart for that.

I would have to imagine too that no matter what his temper might have been, Grant as a former general would have had enough self-control to not physically attack a man charged with keeping him safe.

Michael Steele made an interesting point about the "grabbing the steering wheel" story on MSNBC: if anyone else put hands on a Secret Service agent, they would be arrested. He also said the car would be stopped immediately. According to Steele, you can see the car stop at exactly the moment that Hutchison described. It is a second-hand story and is therefore not by itself "proof", but it is absolutely credible. However, the Secret Service agents involved can be subpoenaed. In fact, the agent at the wheel has already been deposed and according to the Washington Post he did NOT testify about that incident. Of course, no one should volunteer information under those circumstances. It will be interesting to see if he is called back. Interestingly, the reason Secret Service can be subpoenaed comes from the Whitewater investigation, where Ken Starr fought all the way to the Supreme Court to get Clinton's agents to testify about the Monica Lewinsky incident, which of course had nothing to do with Whitewater, but never mind...anyway, because of Starr's fanatical efforts to ruin Clinton Secret Agents could be called to provide one of the final bits of testimony that could put the nail on Trump's coffin. Anyone have a broken "irony meter" GIF handy?

If, as seems possible, Hutchinson flipped because of something that had been said before the committee, wonder who is now going to flip because of what she said? (Supposedly, her lawyers were being paid for by someone connected to Trump, she fired them, and got new ones before flipping. Wonder if her old lawyers said that she "didn't have anything to worry about because when Trump gets re-elected, he'll pardon you"? And she finally realized that Trump tends not to keep his promises.)

That was one hell of a foundation for all sorts of charges. Sadly, I imagine our Dept. of Justice won't prosecute.

Nixon was incredibly insecure, but he was an insecure ADULT. Nothing like the level of arrested development that the former toddler-in-chief has.

Jackson most likely had CTE, PTSD, and lead poisoning. Nixon was a Quaker, who certainly didn't hold to their views of pacifism, but did seem to follow their views on it being wrong to express great emotion. As for Grant, so long as you weren't mistreating women or horses, he was described by someone who observed him during the war, thusly:
In his memoirs, Grant claimed he almost never used profanity.
