The Dems have never had a 60 vote pro-choice super majority or a 50 vote anti-filibuster pro-choice majority.

They never even tried. The reps can blame the lack of repeal of the AMA on dems because they tried many times and failed. Where did the dems try repeatedly to codify roe and never got it passed? They didn't because they had anti-abortion people like Joe Biden trying to overturn it.

It is a lie that they ever tried to make it law. They actually worked against it and are now appointing judges and pitching congresscritters who are anti-abortion. Quit pretending they are against it when they have not tried to get it done.

Oh, and them lying on the campaign trail like Obummer, Sleepy eye joe, and dipshit Pelosi do not count because they have worked against abortion every time they were in power.

Biden Bros are so fucking dishonest, and they sicken me more than the people they support. I expect a politician to lie to get a vote, but stop trying to tell me to stop believi9ng my eyes because you slurp shit out of Biden's human centipede.

Regardless, the best way to get people to turn their back on you is to blame them for your own stupidity.

Oh, come on. If anything, Democrats' main governing characteristic is refusing to use power when they have it.

And need I remind you what Republicans did in states like North Carolina after losing the governorship? That's changing the rules when you don't get your way.

You’re pathetic. The justices that overturned Roe don’t give a shit about the Constitution and in the very near future are going to do much more to undermine it than they have so far.

Here is the Biden Bro lie. They have never supported Roe. Biden tried to end it as a senator. The dems are pushing for anti-abortion democrats over pro-choice dems right now. Biden is putting a lifelong federal judge who is anti-abortion as a favor to Moscow Mitch.

It is a lie that they will ever help us. They are republoicans through and through, and have always been, and you are trying to pretend that rightly calling themn out for their treachery is mean and will stop them from being nice to us?

I know you are a stupid abuse magnet for UA, but not all of us are into blaming ourselves for our abusers actions. So go ask yourself what you do to set off you abusers, but do not blame us when you get abused by the people you take it from.

This is an interesting example of being nice to the abusers. Nothing ever got done with civil rights and the end to slavery until during war the slaves were freed, until blacks rioted for their voting rights, until blacks rioted to be allowed into white schools (something our last two presidents fought against). Years later we have a resurgence of racist hate crimes and our federal government infiltrated by the modern Klan and Nazi movement because we took a break from fighting and were nicer.

While we were nicer to the racists and stopped calling them out for racist symbols like the confederate flag and traitorous icons they did not give any credit. While the dems were nice and stopped fighting for abortion rights after Roe did the Rapist party happily let it go because they did not want to abuse women anymore?

This abuse victim mentality. Just be nice to the violent abuser and maybe they will stop hitting us. That never ever works. An abuser is just going to hit you more when you submit. This is because cruelty is the point to an abuser and every single republican and republicrat like Joe Biden is an abuser. This is why Joe touches people without their permission. It makes him feel bett6er and powerful to violate people.

The cruelty is the point. Getting away from an abuser is hard when they have woven their way into your existence. Look at all the women who have gone onto the street just to get away from an abusive partner. The US can never appease the republicans and Biden Bros. You cannot because the cruelty is the point. If you submit they just get worse.

So it is becoming time to burn down the house because we will never ever get away from the abusers within it. SCOTUS can be infiltrated by the Nazis. So can congress and the president. Most voters are either republican or Biden Bros. Both of those groups love this shit., @Quincunx has the same crusty cum stained underwear that dayton does. Women like @Jenee are just hoping their abusive boyfriend lets them have a peaceful night.

The 13th amendment only abolished chattel slavery. While I realize that's not quite the main point she's giving, it is an important distinction because slavery is still legal in the United States.

I abhor violence, but it really is a necessary tool at times. When it comes to rights, violence, whether by implicit threat or overt act, is what keeps what rights we have existing in this country. MLK once said that a riot was the voice of the unheard. Stokely Carmichael remarked that the reason MLK's peaceful protests weren't very effective was because it requires the people to have a conscience, and that America didn't have one. Hell, JFK aptly stated that those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.

The fact is that we didn't get gun control until the Black Panthers started arming up.
We didn't get onto the path of LGBTQ+ rights until bricks started getting thrown.
Women weren't given the right to vote, they fought, starved themselves, died for their right.

The history so many Americans get taught is an incomplete one, far too sanitized when it comes to civil rights, because the idea that we can have something if we protest it and our betters grant it to us because they're on our side plays very well for those in power, but those of us who get crushed underfoot know better. We know that asking nicely doesn't get anything from the hands of power except the muffling of our voices and the dismissal of our demands as extremism.

Proof of my point. You would love to abuse me for making a point about how you want to abuse women for being women. If I do not stop having an attitude about your abusing women then I should be abused. Not something like we should jail people for trying to impose religious law on women. That is traitorous to everything the founding fathers wanted when they clearly said state religion is an enemy to america, and you want state religion. It is the first amendment they came up with, but you do not care and would rather overturn the constitution for your religion just so you can be dominant over women.

Why do women frighten you and trigger you so much?

Solution: if pregnant women serve their nine month pregnancy while in prison, the 13th amendment’s ban on involuntary servitude will not apply!

For @TheLonelySquire I would actually start considering abortion prevention under certain circumstances, but not before these are in place.

    1. Government funded reproductive healthcare that included birth control. We make the very small expenditure to fund preventative pregnancy care for every woman no matter their status as a citizen. They can come in and get BC, IUDs, condoms, STD prevention, and education on how to use them to keep from getting pregnant. I would even want voluntary temp and permanent sterilization to be covered for women. I could go ahead without the latter, and I would also like male reproductive prevention to be free, but I could be persuaded otherwise.

    2. Government funded care for pregnancy and birth. Let us eliminate the cost for something we have to do for society to continue. We have been having birth for all of our existence, let us make it something society covers.

    3. Exceptions for rape, incest, and in case of danger for the mother's physical health.

    4. Childcare coverage through the 18th birthday and schooling through a bachelors. This means the child will have food, shelter, medicine, education, internet, and transportation to social and educational events. It also includes daycare while the parent or parents work. This is all given by the public for children. This should also include good public coverage for abandoned children.

If all of these things come about, and I am willing to vote and contribute taxes to all of them, I would start morally and ethically leading towards restricting abortion except in cases of rape, incest, and danger to the mother. If we say as a society that we will take care of the mothers and the children and make sure they can do this without fear or risk of failure then I will start to consider the potential for life to be much more important.

We do need social safety nets, but the government isn't our parent. If people are able bodied why should others be needed to pay for their decision to have children as a matter of course? If a woman opens her legs and a man mounts her, they should know that there's the possibility of pregnancy.

There should definitely be assistance programs in place though, as there'll always be a segment of society unable to control its most base urges.

While I find the SCOTUS decision to be repugnant, wrong on both legal and moral grounds, I can’t help but chuckle at the liberals here squabbling over who is not progressive enough. The reason we got here is in 2016 too many Democrats, liberals, progressives, leftists in general sat out the election because Bernie wasn’t the candidate. We wound up with Trump, who pretty much everyone on Wordforge minus a couple of idiots knew was a horrible person. But no, we didn’t get Bernie so we ain’t voting for Hillary. Baw baw baw.
Democrats followed their usual pattern and couldn’t get enough of their voters to actually vote.
And guess what? Right now it looks like the same thing is going to happen in 2024.

    1. Clinton won the presidential vote by about 2.9 million. I find it funny how many people demand adherence to an inherently flawed system (vote harder next time!) we were born into. Since the other side won’t cede one inch of power it’s better to just tear down the flawed system.

    2. Blaming progressives is clearly a disingenuous argument. Progressives have been on the side of labor, fair wages, and worker protections for generations. The blame lies with the a segment of midwestern men who would rather air their grievance culture than work with people who don’t look like them to find long term solutions.

Interesting take from the guy who in 2016 was saying either of them would be equally disastrous.

"Omg I can't believe you all were stupid enough to believe the same things I was saying" isn't the smackdown you seem to think it is.
