I saw "THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER" last night in the theater & thought it was GREAT.

"THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER" was my first introduction to the character as I've never seen any of the previous "THOR" movies nor the Avengers movies Thor was in. I've known about the Marvel comic book for decades but never bought & read any issues of it.

I look forward to Thor's next big screen adventure :techman:

Fellow Wordforgers , what are your opinions of "THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER"?

    Let me guess...

"Eeeewww! Lady Thor!! Eeew! Ladies period!! Yucky, yucky, yucky!!! :yuck: Thor should be played by a man, and that man should be me pulling my reflection out of the mirror, and blowing myself! :bailey:".

    I'm gonna see it tomorrow.
Maybe it'll be as good as "Ragnarok" maybe it'll be not quite as good.
But in either case, I'll probably be recommending Critical Drinker be lethally injected by a disgruntled rodeo clown.
It's not a perfectly safe bet, but odds are good enough.

Eh. Having spent my teenage years in Texas, I’ve learned to block out stupid nonsense like repeatedly saying Portperson - yea, genius, you and you alone are that clever. But, much like a stopped clocked, he does manage, on occasion, to get some actual humor in there.

Critical tucker carlson aside, I am not up for Lady Thor. I want gay eye candy Chris Hemsworth as Thor. I want my Thor yummy, sarcastic, and out of the emo dad bod mode. If Lady Thor is bothering you because thor should be a muscular dude and not some cleavage showing woman fighting in a semi armored bathing suit, then you are bisexual at least. Seriously, a night out with the boys testicle tanning, wrestling around, and watching Chris flex sounds like a gay party I would love to go to.

I am just hoping it is as good as ragnarok, or close enough.

That was a terrible review. That guy needs to come out of the closet and admit he likes his yummy gay eye candy. None of us want the end of Chris because he is sexy as fuck pie.

Do not get me wrong, I love my heroines more than I love heroin, but leave Thor alone because gays (and closeted gay guys like the Critical drinker) need eye candy too. I feel for him. He went to the movies to see some sexy ass male Thor and then had a bait and switch to booby thor. That is not very nice, especially when you took away some poor closeted guys spank material and replaced it with cooties. It is angering to have an acceptable outlet for your homoerotic male fantasies be taken away while you are too afraid to actually shop for homoerotic material. Closeted dudes do not have a lot of options, especially considering they took a lot of gay out of Top Gun for the sequel.

I feel for the Critically gay drinker because they took his soft core gay fantasies away twice this year.

The reviews are absolutely awful. Wow. These movies are usually reliably mediocre.

Critics haven’t always been kind to the … individual Avenger movies. And the Thor movies have been some of the worst (I liked them anyway).

I’ve never been ruled by ratings or reviews. I’ll watch it. I’ll probably like it.

If the dude had a southern US accent, and said all the same shit, and threw in a "whaaaaate paaauueerr!" at the end, it would be obvious to people what he is, but make it a Scot accent, suddenly the fanboys brains get all confuzzled.
Crypto-Nazis have a kink for euro accents.
    Witness Sargon Of Akkad.
    Same phenomenon, but limey.
And more mask-off with the fascism after Charlottesville.

At least find a less transparent expression for your petty fucking jealousy. This "recite the approved narrative on command or you are one of the 'bad guys'" shtick is long past fucking tired.

Have you actually listened to anything the Drinker has said or do just automatically label him a Nazi because you see Nazis everywhere?

    Aaaanywayyy!
Just got back from the flick.
Yeah, the negative critics can go eat it.

Is it as good as "Ragnarok"?
    Red apples and green apples.
While this is a Waititi joint, it's not a clone of "Ragnarok" it has its own flavor.
This is more...He-Man meets "Heavy Metal" with "Swamp Thing" for the bad guys, and a dash of "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" for the expanded God universe stuff.
The tone is all over the place, it barely holds together, but it does hold.
The roller-coaster creaks a little at a couple turns, but Waititi pulls it off.

Even if you don't like it as much as "Ragnarok" it's still way better than 1 & 2.
Still enough to put it in the top tier character standalones.

    I dug it.

Then you fucking haven't, because I disagree with him frequently. It's possible to get a couple of laughs from someone without endorsing every word they ever said, let alone the words put in their mouth by some bitter fucking dilettante who wishes he was worth the attention.
