SS wiped their texts AFTER they were told the panel wanted them - that's intentional. Hillary was wrong to keep a private server but actually right to wipe it, since it was being thrown out - otherwise anyone could recover sensitive information. She just wasn't aware her data wasn't backed up for the official record, as it would be on a public server.

Currently doing a cybersecurity module and the first thing you learn is that users (even IT-savvy ones) make a LOT of fuck-ups without realising. But the SS are part of the department that HANDLES cybersecurity. They have far less wiggle room to plead ignorance.

For instance, Cipollone refused to disclose communications with Trump about the need to call off the rioters. And he wouldn’t testify to direct knowledge of conversations about the mob’s “hang Mike Pence” chants and Trump’s alleged conviction that Pence “deserved” this.

Yet a Justice Department investigation would likely be able to prevail on Cipollone to disclose those communications, says New York University law professor Ryan Goodman, who closely tracks the Jan. 6 saga at Just Security.

“Cipollone obviously thought many of Trump’s schemes were illegal or risked criminal liability,” Goodman told me. “The Justice Department can get from Cipollone what he told Trump directly and how Trump responded. That is likely to be damning evidence.”

A coverup of something. 1 agency could be incompetence. 3? No.

I don't even think one agency of the Secret Service, Homeland Security and the Pentagon could be just incompetence since they are obviously security-minded in nature. Like I could buy the Dept. of Agriculture or something just messing up and deleting all records from Jan. 5-7, but not any of the aforementioned three, especially in the face of there being specific requests for records within weeks of the incident.

Let alone the Secret Service in particular has the foremost computer forensics team in the world.

This is a cover up, but why not, they got away with it with Russia when that was obvious as hell too.

I mean, they admitted they met with Russian agents in Trump tower, that they first lied about why but then admitted it was about dirt on Clinton, said dirt was provided by Russia, and was coordinated through Roger Stone.

And they still got away with it.
