    Supergirl had 6 seasons.
Legends (led by White Canary) had 7.

And outside of DC, Law & Order SVU (led by Mariska Hargitay) has been on for 23 fucking seasons!!!

Yeah, but people hate "girl shows".

Sucks about Legends. It was silly, but I liked it anyway. Flash is overstaying its welcome just like Arrow did, but Batwoman should never have finished a single season, and Supergirl must be purged by fire from memory.

Hey, I liked Supergirl. Batwoman just never clicked. Legends was fun.

Hey look, it’s a YouTube video with zero comment on what it’s about and why we might be interested in watching it. And it’s nearly twenty minutes long. Surely people will ridicule you this awful blight on Wordforge.

Kevin Smith is kind, and fun, and not a shrieking hate monger keeping suicide away with booze.
But no, it's the same thing.

Splashed across the video still are the words "Kevin Smith's DCU Project Dead." If you're interested in Kevin Smith and the DC TV series he was working on, that's enough to get you to watch. I have only a casual interest in either, so I didn't even bother to watch the video, however, I know some folks here actually like both of those things enough that they might be interested in watching it. So, I dropped it here, and if they want to watch it, they can. If they don't, they won't. Either way, I'll probably never make reference to the video again, nor, if I'm asked about something involving Smith and his dead project will I respond with, "Just watch this" and drop the video. Because if someone had asked me a direct question about Smith and his project and I did that, I'd be a dick.

    TLDR version-
He wrote two episodes for an anthology show of the C-list DC characters.
His thing getting killed is part of this whole Batgirl/Supergirl thing.
The new boss of Warners sounds like a douche nozzle, and Smith predicts Flash is going to be killed, and we aren't going to see Keaton-Bats in anything.
He also thinks HBOMax is going to be killed by being absorbed into Discovery.

So Quendaline Christie is a fine actress, but I’d rather see Tom Ellis in the role of Lucifer.

    That's about my only complaint.
Every other character has been drawn - flexibly - over the years, and in the way the appear to other characters.
John Constantine has to still be John in future canon literally till the end of time and it's even more of a waste that they didn't keep Matt Ryan.

I'd tend to agree for the sake of continuity, but I'm okay with this change given the asexual nature of angels in the Endlessverse.

I love Matt Ryan, but Gaiman said that besides his own desire to write a different character, there were significant legal complexities to using John in this series.

I find it interesting the gender flipped Lucifer since, according to what I've seen, the Tom Ellis Lucifer is supposed to be the same being in canon

Yeah, even though everything crated by Alan Moore is owned by DC, so that hurdle isn't in play, John being there would be like Superman or Batman being there.
    Just...kinda weird.
Better the DC-hero-verse be walled off from the Gaiman-verse.

IIRC Gaiman said it might have been too confusing to have both Johanna Constantine (who ties in majorly to Morpheus' arc with his son) and John so decided to merge them.

Plus if you can get Jenna Coleman you fucking do so.
