Umm, you clearly do not know what the common me3aning for words is. Yes, you have placed a meaning on words like a toddler does, but it is normally not the common shared definitions. This is why you are a fucking toddler. This is why pretending in your fantasy world is stuoid because even if you agreed on a word's meaning it would change as soon as someone shows you you are wrong because you cannot win an argument without moving the goal posts and redefining or switching points.

It does not matter what is being argued you do the same thing every time. Some really simple people like to play your game because they are not that bright themselves. It is like watching two chihuahias bark at each other when you and @Bailey argue.

perhaps, but it's a coda to the post, not the body of it.
it's also in response to you dodging and deflecting as you attempt scattershot arguments and burdens of proof for things that aren't there.

you also missed the part where it's based on years of knowing you.
it's not an ad homme if it's true, and you've rarely shown more than a remedial high schooler's capacity for argumentation.

I've been called a liar here by at least two people here on this board multiple times, are you going to apply that qualifier to me as well? Also, do I really have to remind you what a lie of omission is? Anyway, the proof is in the video you obviously didn't watch. He made the statement, the White House corrected the statement, he then repeated it again. Either he's lying or has dementia. They won't admit to either one.

So your argument that climate change is not haopening boils down to sleepy joe saying it is happening and then him saying it is not happening. When I start listening to Joe biden about the internet you may have a stupid argument that fits, until then no one is ever saying Joe Biden is a climate change scientist and should be the source of your information. Oh look, a shifting argument and goal post changing just like everyone says you do. Everyone except for @Bailey who wants to engage in this bullshit with you.

Is bailey your mom? As a noted liar we cannot trust she is dead, and only a mother or nursery school teacher would try that hard to pretend you were going toi make a point.

I'm not calling you a liar. I'm asking you to show the lie you claim exists. at least a time stamp (y'know, like a footnote?)

to prove it's a lie though, you'd have to show intent to deceive rather than the more likely out of date info.

obviously you don't need to remind me of lies of omission as you demonstrate them on the regular (that's a tu quoque, btw). Shall I remind you of false dichotomy (either he's lying or dementia) and ab absurdum?

Even if this turns into a below average Hurricane season, and that's not been established yet, it still doesn't change the fact that 6 of the last 7 have been above average. This would be the first break of an that upward trend, assuming it does happen.

And that we are already at or past the Pacific Typhoon count average for the last 50 years (including Tropical Storms, Tropical Cyclones, and Typhoons) and sill have 2 months to go in the season.

Lies, damn lies, and science denier blogs.

Again, after The White House corrected the statement, he repeated the line. If it was outdated information, then it's after the White House corrected it. That doesn't seem likely. Next.

Last year, I got wiped out in the ocean and pushed ashore. I was underwater for almost a minute I think. The amount of sand I was picking out of my hair, nose, and ears was insane. For days I would find more sand. I mean WTF. It was unbearable.

Yet somehow, Federal Fuckhead is able to exist with his head entirely encased in sand. At all times. And he can post on the internet. Not very well, but they do count as posts! That's remarkable. How have humans evolved to survive in these levels of sand submersion? We're truly a remarkable species and will surely go far!

I don't have time to look up the details right now, but that lines up with what I recall, depending on how you define the end of the ice age.

As much as we can have certainty about the past, it seems we are able to know that through historical records such as ice cores, tree ring records, fossil records and other such things that let us infer the temperature, C02 levels, and rate of change in each over past periods.

Based on the historical records we have, a period of warming with reasonably consistent patterns of heating over time and atmospheric CO2 concentration changes.

Correct. Do you know what happens to the ice caps and sea level when this warming period occurs?

I'm glad you agree with your own question, but assuming this is addressed to me:

    Sea levels: rise
Ice caps: shrink overall in mass, although the complications related to localised temperature cycles and salinity levels mean it probably wasn't a straight linear progression.

    Not at all.

First, what's your definition of "now"? As you said was correct, we have historical records we can use to infer how quickly temperatures and CO2 concentrations changed in previous cycles, and up to around the start of the 20th century what we saw globally largely aligns with cyclic expectations.

What we see in the past century deviates from that pattern to a large extent. CO2 levels are higher than they have been in 3-5 million years. Global air and sea temperatures have risen at a rate well beyond that observed in any normal patterns, and do so measured across the entire planet, negating the ability to blame localised or short term weather systems.

Worryingly, the correlation we observe between rising temperatures and CO2 levels matches up with the scientifically demonstrated fact that increased carbon levels in the atmosphere increase heat retention.

Any more questions, or is it your turn to answer a couple of questions related to the climate?

And what's that you always say in response to such criticism? "When you can't refute the argument, you attack the source"? If Twitter's a source, and you're attacking it...

I realize that this will escape you, but I don't give a goddamn what the source is, if it's an opinion piece, it's not worth reading the vast majority of the time, regardless of what point it might be making, because it will almost certainly leave out some crucial facts that completely undercut the point it is trying to make.

On the rare occasions that I post a link to an opinion piece, I will always point out that it is an opinion piece and that one shouldn't accept it as an accurate representation of the facts. Doesn't matter where posters might fall on the political spectrum here, I'm the only one who does that.

Also, I don't "raw dog" any social media platform, be it Facebook or Twitter. On FB I use Social Fixer, which enables me to override FB's default settings and aspects of the algorithm that distort what's being posted. For Twitter, I use Bot Sentinel, which not only identifies bot accounts, and traces them back to their sources when possible, but it also labels posters by how much shit they fling, regardless of their political affiliation. So, an account that responds to tweets by the GOP with "Go fuck yourself" (or similar) gets labeled as "disruptive," because it's not actually trying to provide an accurate refutation of what's been posted, but just make people angry.

Neither of those things is perfect but they make both sites far more valuable as resources to find out information than they otherwise would be.
