To the point that the Federation diplomat sent along sympathises more with the "oppressed native aliens" (yes, Israel thread, hello) who look like humanoid zebras and turns on Kirk to assist the Klingons - who are backing these aliens but only as a lure to spark a new conflict with the Federation. The diplomat has some choice slurs for the "freak" human colonists which quite closely mirror anti-trans language.
