There's also the book series about Bond attending college. I'm a Bond completist, so I own those books but haven't cracked them open (and not sure if I ever will). Apparently the first series of books, authored by Charlie Higson, received largely positive reviews but the second series by Steve Cole was a mixed bag.
You prompted me to watch a couple episodes on YouTube. I had remembered that there was this show growing up but I didn't watch it because I couldn't get past them naming him James Bond Jr and him only being the nephew of the real James Bond. So he should have been James Bond II. Or they should have had the huevos to just have James Bond have a bastard kid. Anyway, getting to see Oddjob with a big ass Flavor Flav chain "OJ" making a certain real-life killer jealous was...something. The show was pretty terrible, but I may keep going down that rabbit hole.
It's Scottish, pejorative for homosexual, and to be found in many a novel using Scots slang words. It actually sounds like a nice cuss until you realize its meaning.
I'm just going to put this here, since that ensures the highest number of pissed off people. Christopher Nolan Has High Praise for Zack Snyder
I am curious about those, if they're just Junior Spy novels, then meh, but if they dig in to the makings of Bond's personality, that could be interesting.
To quote his take on Quicksilver, "Didn't see that coming." Not really...there'd been rumors that he was being looked at for the role for a while.
