https://www.ctvnews.ca/sci-tech/dee...w-we-need-ai-regulation-now-experts-1.6745906 What say you, PervForge? I didn't really care before, photoshopped celebrity fakes have been around forever, this is just the newest wrinkle on it. But then last night I saw a picture of TS laying on a bunch of garbage while getting railed by Oscar the Grouch, and now I care but in a very confusing way.
There was also one of her getting railed by Kermit the frog, but that just made me worried for her safety. Miss Piggy knows karate, after all. Also, isn't all porn Muppet porn so long as someone ends up with an arm inside them?
I kind of like how she's making @Steal Your Face 's people go absolutely fucking mental https://www.rollingstone.com/politi...onspiracies-chiefs-super-bowl-1234955940/amp/
"The train has left the station" is one of the first quotes in the article posted by @14thDoctor You could also say the horses have already fled the stables, the cat's out of the bag, or the genie's out of the bottle. No amount of legislation is going to stop this. I'm just being a realist. Welcome to the new world that social media and the internet has created. Enjoy it, kids!
Yeah, at best legislation might be able to push it mostly underground, but that's doubtful. Creeps making porn with the faces of people they know is here to stay. Of all the things from TNG that I thought would become real in my lifetime, this wasn't on the list.
These aren't my people. I have no idea what's going on with Tasylor Swift, nor do I desire to know. Not everyone follows these stupid Twitter trends or whatever it is.
What I don't understand is why this all supposedly hinges on the Chiefs winning. Like, if the Chiefs lose, will only-two-time Super Bowl Champion Travis Kelce and his girlfriend not be famous enough or willing to advocate for a Joe Biden victory? Or will the sheeple be able to resist because Kelce only has two rings?
Trumpers can't possibly understand why anyone would support or respect a man that loses even one time.
I'm sorry, are people seriously acting like fake nudes of celebrities are some brand-new invention, and horny nerds weren't downloading fakes of Sarah Michelle Gellar off of Hotline and Limewire back when Bill Clinton was president?
Ehhhh, in a slippery slope sense true, but there's clearly some fuzziness. For example in some places (but I believe not the US?) simulated child porn is illegal. Is this different? If someone was to make a model (somehow trained off legal material) to produce that sort of material would it be different? What if they started trading prompts, that through a series of individually legal steps, could produce images indistinguishable from real CSAM?
As much as I want the anguish on the faces of people who are rooting for the Chiefs to lose for stupid political reasons that make no sense, it’s not going to stop me from rooting for my Niners. Christian McCaffrey for MVP!!
Some Repugs have been floating lowering the age of consent to 14, so of course they think 34 is an old bag.
What happens now in those places if someone photographs someone of legal porn-making age (there's gotta be a better way to say that) that looks considerably younger, and dresses them up and frames the photos in a way that makes them look even younger? Piper Perri was 19 when that picture was taken, but she's 4'9 and maybe 80 lbs. Your mileage may vary, but I don't think she looks 19. Put her something like a scout uniform or catholic school outfit and I'd be even more skeptical that she was an adult. Should her filmography be illegal?
Not sure what to make of this. The slippery slope argument upthread seems like it may have some merit. This does seem to have some similarity to the unauthorised leaking of nude pictures a few years back, in that it raises questions around personal ownership of ones image.
You could never prevent a person from drawing your likeness doing something awful. Now you have a computer program making it happen. The only problem becomes where people believe it and it causes damages. That is a civil matter and we have courts for deciding that. In general people are going to have to step up and understand digital information can be manufactured. There will need to be some form of detection for fake video evidence. As for people who are bothered when their likeness shows up fucking someone else, people will need to grow the fuck up and stop having so much drama.
Actually the meme suggests that Foxnews has always denied climate change/pollution/fucking up our planet until one day when Taylor Swift of all people came along with her fancy private jet and now all of a sudden carbon emissions and pollution are a problem It's a wonderful, self inflicted example of how truly shitty and disingenuous Foxnews really is and by extension of how absolutely fucking stupid they think their viewers are
It’s not all of the sudden and not just Taylor Swift, they do the same with John Kerry and all of the climate change hypocrites that fly into Davos each year to decide what’s best for the rest of us.
