Calm your bitchy tits. I'll indulge uou with your precious copy and paste of shit you already know when and if I can find it again. My time is not unlimited.
But yours are, because a powdered judge wig fell off the back of a truck, and landed right on your head! On that fateful day, you became.....STILL JUST SOME ASSHOLE!!!!!
It had to do with fudging items and substitutions counted in the CPI to undercut cost of living adjustments to Social Security to fuck people out of their benefits and funnel money to our corporate overlords. Of course you're not going to find "on this date, we got up to some budget fuckery" on a government site, and text versions of news from 30 years ago aren't proving easy to find. Still, I'm surprised at you collectivist types on this one.
Except if this sort of thing WAS going on, you'd expect you Libertarian types to have secret prepper bunkers of articles already researched and ready to shoot down any home intruders the instant they mentioned the CPI. You'd think they'd have archived this shit 30 years back - the internet wasn't exactly big back then but it was big enough. And yet... No. So either Libertarians like you are a bunch of hopeless cunts who just TALK a good game, or there's not actually anything out there. Which is it, oh Wearer Of The Fail Beard?
He’s just an idiot who doesn’t understand how substitution works. He thinks that if Heinz raised their prices to $5,000 a bottle but Hunt’s and store brand stayed the same price the CPI should adjust the average cost of ketchup to $2,000 a bottle. It is the Consumer Price Index. Not the goods and services price index. If prices rise on a good or service and folks shift to a substitute it factors that shift into the index because folks aren’t buying the now more expensive option at the same rate they were before.
I think we can all come together and agree that Heinz > Hunt’s* > store brand but it isn’t a huge issue if you have to buy Hunt’s or store brand. *with the obvious exception of the Hunt’s Sriracha combo - that was the best ketchup ever created
Or chicken instead of steak. Or omitting entirely the non-food items that absolutely DO contribute to the cost of living, like housing. Any shady bullshit to allow them spend that Social Security revenue on something other than SS benefits for the people who paid into it. I'm sure that's just fine with you.
Fuck you are stupid. FOR THE FOURTH FUCKING TIME LITERALLY THE SECOND BULLET POINT IN FF’S ARTICLE IS ABOUT HOW HOUSING COSTS IMPACTED JAN’S INFLATION RATE! FUCK! Shelter prices accounted for much of the rise, climbing 0.6% on the month, contributing more than two-thirds of the headline increase. On a 12-month basis, shelter rose 6%.
You read whole articles! You're a nerd with no life! I weld things! Look at me! Look at me, Anc! Make eye contact. Don't shy away. Look at me. I. Weld. Things. Forsake Jesus, and worship me.
Oh I always get the no sugar added variety now that they make them. We don’t have Whataburger up here at all sadly and my Safeway only had Hunt’s Sriracha not Heinz. Didn’t even know it was a thing. Has it come back after the Great Sriracha Crisis?
We have some sriracha ketchup in the house but I don't remember the brand. Whataburger condiments are sold in grocery stores here. Even though you can buy them online, I still send them to a friend in San Diego a couple of times a year.
Manufacturing spending up 279% by beginning of year four of the Biden Administration ….here’s why that’s bad for his reelection.
keep kicking the old man and get him doing something! I would actually have felt guilty doing that to Bernie.
Good he is planning on that. It isn't like he campaigned on that promise years ago and never did it, and is now recycling that plan again to try and get people to vote for him. Good thing he wasn't president for the past three years where he could have pushed to do this any day or else it would seem like an empty gehsture he didn't really want to do or cared about. Dark Brandon strikes again.
*sigh* You really have no clue how any of this works do you? You have as much understanding of the federal government as Billy. I don’t know when the WH started working on their policy but it was announced on October 6th of 2022. That’s also when he pardoned everyone convicted of Federal possession charges. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...ent-from-president-biden-on-marijuana-reform/ Just like I taught you yesterday about how the President can’t just yell at an aide to bring a pencil and paper to make a law, he can’t do the same to change a regulation. ESPECIALLY one like this is actually Congressional authority that they have delegated to the Executive and put a lot of restrictions and procedures on.
@Tererune 's skills seem to lie with angry racism and which brand of adult diapers really hold in the dampness best
You mean the pardon that did not mean much because the fed does not really go after people for possession, and even if they did catch someone on possession charges they would have pushed those charges to the state level because possession is really a local crime and not a federal one? Declassifying pot as schedule one could have been done much earlier in the term, but was saved for the end. This is my complaint with Biden, he hangs into bad laws and regulations for as long as possible effectively keeping them up far beyond them being lost. He could have done the rescheduling thing in 2021 when he promised, but instead he let it go for three more years doing whatever damage could be done to people who smoke pot, and now he is trying to pretend he will do something about it if we support him. You are really desperate to try and make the bastard look good. It is like polishing a turd, you can do it, but you never want to scrape the surface even slightly because it is a turd and it will mess up your work.
Moving pot from Schedule 1 to Schedule 3 I would compare to going with "Don't ask don't tell". Once everyone realized the world wasn't going to end, we were able to have a more or less sane policy about gays serving in the military. Hopefully legalization will happen more quickly than doing away with DADT, but it will happen.
