Okay, binged this over the last week while I was down with the flu. Although it had issues, the show pulled an almost SAAB middle-finger to TPTB with a crazy-good final episode that left you wondering where it would all have gone in S3. Anyone watch this when it aired (or since) and have any opinions? I hear that last year the creator of the original version of the show stated his intention to do a blockbuster movie trilogy and tell the story the way it was meant to be told all along.
Space: Above and Beyond. Great show other than the fetish for inserting Patsy Cline into the soundtrack at any opportunity. Kind of a best of both if you mashed the Marines from Aliens with Starship Troopers.
Especially Morena Baccarin. Even ten years later she's still hot as hell. She brings out my inner Oldfella.
Morena really pulled off the 'lizard in human skin' vibe on this show. That short hair made her neck look longer, and she had a way of smiling that never reached her eyes. Deliciously evil. As for Laura Vandervoort... howsabout just plain delicious! Every time I see Elizabeth Mitchell in something I just can't get past her being that child pornographer in that movie with Paul Walker and Vera Farminga that came out about a decade ago.
I think you were on sabbatical from here when Tricia Helfer wandered into my after hours. Didn't really get to talk to her, but had enough of an exchange while pouring her a drink to confirm.
How can it be better without Marc singer, Micheal ironsides, and Robert englund roaming around in a dumpster saying mousie mousie while looking for dinner?
