United 93. And there is more than enough corroborating evidence that many of the passengers heroically fought back, through things like cell phone conversations and radio communications from the flight deck. You sound like a conspiracy nut when you post shit like that.
Can't speak for him or how he meant it, but I didn't read it that he didn't believe it happened. Only that their heroism is legend and like the Alamo (we really believe that happened too) this legend will go down in history like that legend.
So you think that your chosen lifestyle/drug use isn't also adding to your father's medical woes? I'd wager that politics are far less of a concern to him.
Yeah, Jenee's got it. Conspiracy would be a vast overstatement. I have no doubt that the plane took off and crashed and everyone listed on the manifest died. Never heard about the flight deck communications (I thought they'd gone silent?) other than the flight recorder. I think my confusion comes from the legend focusing on cellphones rather than the air phone system (35/37 calls)... OTOH, it doesn't seem unlikely to me that one of those F16s shadowing them was ordered to shoot it down... Still, yeah, the bigger point is the propagandizing value.
United 93 was ordered to be shot down by Vice President Dick Cheney. The order was rescinded when it was learned that the plane had crashed. Let me know if you need some more tinfoil for that hat.
fine... "had orders and proceeded to.".not sure why you saw the need to emphasize when I've already implied only cursory knowledge Fun fact, I don't wear hats and coincidentally still have a full head of hair at 53. I don't really care about the possibility that they, umm, re-shot the ending beyond a thought/literary exercise.
For a guy who hates the USA and doesn't understand the powers of the Presidency, you sure seem to bitch a lot about things that aren't your business. Do I complain about the emasculated douchebag you've got running things up there? No, so shut up.
9/11 -- a relatively unremarkable crisis in US history, but for the fact that we've spent a generation overreacting to it.
I don't hate it, I just think it's a shithole full of terrible people like you. Palm Springs is nice, love staying at the Parker Hotel Oh man. It's a cult and you're slamming the Kool Aid. You need to find Jesus
I would've responded but Rimjob beat me to it: I wouldn't go quite so far to say it was unremarkable, but we have spent the last two decades being guilted over this and gaslighted into supporting a forever war for MuH fReEdOm that I personally have no fucks to give. And given we 9/11 fell outside of the top ten deadliest days in our history specifically because of the pandemic Trump refused to do anything about, it lays bare the lie that this was ever about anything but capitalism and America's wounded pride.
