So, this guy has been accused, it does not make him guilty. I guess though, facing court in any south american country is pretty much a death sentence. Aren't they all guilty until proven innocent? How can you prove that you didn't kill someone?

If there was an extradition treaty, it would work the other way around- he would be extradited from Holland to Chile for trial and internment, where the crime occured. You don't 'outsource' a prisoner to his home country to go to jail.

Some countries do exchange prisoners to serve out their time in their home country.

I'd only endorse that if the jails in the 'home country' were at the Mexico level or worse. Better not make me king- I'll just hang the vast majority of the fuckers and be done with it. Rope is cheap and trees are plentiful.
