I'm still thinking we'll see something from Amys Choice.

The Master was originally intended to be part of the Doctor, his dark side and possibly his brother, so maybe Moffat plans to go back to that?

Genuinely did not see the empty-Pandorica thing coming.

Also, the bbc website is going in hard on Amy being dead but I presume that is horseshit in the world of the reset button.

Clearly, the actual big bad is the voice. The alliance knows nothing and isn't controlling the TARDIS, otherwise why would they say no-one flys the TARDIS but the Doctor.

I had assumed that the thing in the Pandorica would be some aspect of the doctor because the series so far has been a big step up in terms of showing pics of different incarnations, having something we take to be the Valeyard appear etc. But unless the voice is the Valeyard then maybe that was all misdirection...?

Also, does Moffat genuinely have a plan for Riover Song because if he does I'll wager it'll be immense. If he doesn't it'll probably just be quite good.

I'm still voting for something along the lines of "it's all in Amy's head".

But you have to give the writers credit for keeping everyone guessing. I'm with PGT. I really did not see the empty Pandorica coming.

All those bad guys brought back, and no Master!
If he's not in the next ep, I'm gonna feel gypped!

Nah, we saw in an earlier episode (in the same shot that revealed Amy's wedding dress) that she had held onto all that Doctor stuff from her childhood.

I'm going to call it now that the season ends with all the damage from the cracks reset, and Amy suddenly remembers all the rest of her family as they reappear in the house. We basically have a repeat of the start of the series then, except when the Doctor turns up and meets adult Amy for the first time she has moved on with her life and decides to not go with him.

By the way, a couple of interesting images taken from another board:

Only two stories. Why two flights of stairs?

    Fancy basement?

I used to live in a "two story" townhouse that had an enormous full basement. We had two sets of stairs arranged like that, except there was a door and thin wall hiding the lower staircase.

It is a perspective thing that makes it look like the stairs don;t go anywhere in the second shot. It would be perfectly possible to have stairs to an attic like that so not sure there is anything in it except possibly to reinforce the sense that something is not quit right with Amy.

Do I remember correctly that when the Doctor frst meets Amy as a little girl she is 'running away'? But then doesn't because she falls asleep waiting for him to come back?

So, were those supposed to be the Mondas Cybermen there? I know they looked like the AU ones, but they apparently had their own ships, and the Mondas Cybermen are the ones that say "assimilate."

Seems reasonable enough to me that the Mondas Cybermen would steal the AU design the minute they saw it, since the AU Cybermen don't have that pesky gold weakness.

I got the impression that the headless Cyberman was Mondasian, but the ones that appeared with the "Alliance" were Cybusmen, since they seemed to be worried about the cracks destroying "all Universes".

But at this point, fuck it. Cybermen are Cybermen.

Even the original series couldn't get their origin straight. First they were from Mondas. Then they were from Telos. Then they were from Mondas but had moved to Telos. Then later they had no fixed abode.

Cybermen created by Trigger can never be as powerful as the Mondas ones.

    Dave said so.

I read some speculation about how the Doctor will get out of the Pandorica...

[?=spoiler]Amelia (little amy) unlocks the Pandorica and frees the Doctor.[/?]

    I heard a rumor....

[?= "Don't look if you don't want to be possibly mega-spoilered!"][?= "No, really!"][?= "REALLY really!"]I've heard there are strong indications that Jason Issacs (Lucious Malfoy from Harry Potter fame) might pop up in the end as Omega. There is certain logic there as I believe Omega is trapped in a sun somewhere....if they have all gone nova it could have let him out...[/?][/?][/?]

[?= "About that"]Omega's trapped in a black hole - or rather the antimatter universe on the other side of the event horizon. Would like to see him back, but I'd prefer the Great Intelligence more if we have to have a disembodied entity attempting to escape imprisonment.[/?]

Disembodied consciousness exiled from another dimension, went up against the Second Doctor on a couple of occasions. Used robot servants disguised as Yetis and had the power to snare the TARDIS in flight.

The novels tried linking it to Yog-Sothoth from the Lovecraft stories.
