Yes, indeed. I find it surprising that one of our "best" admins only manages to see this in the past hour or so, despite having posted routinely in the this since it was brought up yesterday. Clearly she had all those other threads to read so must not have had time to read this one properly.....just post in it....ya know....cos admins are just members as well, right?

[/insane nitpicker] More seriously, it's surprising how little getting your rep set to max-neg limits repwar against you. I had mine set to max-neg a long time ago. Actual repwar against me continued for quite a while, and random negs on posts the repgiver can't possibly actually disagree with still happen fairly regularly.
^It's also fun to listen to them howl and run to the Help Desk when you turn off your rep. Apparently that's "not fair." Just as refusing to neg-rep posters who do nothing but neg-rep you for years is "hypocrisy." Charles Dodgson would have found this place fascinating.
Again, the notion I need to post a remark about every comment made in the Red Room that's offensive or I can't say anything about anything. Ridiculous and impossible. There's nothing wrong with my post. It's the concept that doesn't make sense. Sokar said it first and you echoed it. Let me explain it again: For years I used rep for its intended function, mostly to pos-rep a post I agreed with, very, very rarely to neg-rep a post whose content I disagreed with. It's a complex concept. Take a moment to make sure you understand it. This despite the fact that KIRK, Jamey Dear and, to a lesser extent, apostle, Sokar, and Megatron, neg-repped me constantly and unremittingly for years. Years. Okay. With me still? Feel free to ask questions if there's anything in the above you don't understand. (I especially admire Jamey Dear's technique. He rarely posts, just conducts his little neg-rep campaigns. That makes it difficult for his targets to reciprocate.) However, as you've noted, very recently and by invitation, I joined a movement already in progress to convey to the PedoRay Brigade that some of us were sick of the bullshit, and that they ought to stop. Sokar yelled "HYPOCRISY!" You've since echoed it, and gone to great lengths to take me to task, while failing to comment on the majority of the other participants. See, in the Real World, that sort of selectivity would be the true definition of hypocrisy. Well, unlike most in your camp, you at least know how to spell it. I suppose one should be grateful for that.
See, Tamar, here's the part where you inform us that you can't possibly read every post in every thread, and then you remind us yet again and in great detail of how ill you are because that's supposed to excuse your actions. There are several other posters here dealing with chronic illness. They don't feel obligated to mention it at least once a week. That said, here's a crazy idea: Don't jump in in the middle of a fray until you've familiarized yourself with both sides of the issue. And if that's too much responsibility, maybe being an admin is, too.
I would neg rep the very existance of any personna that twistedly celebrates each Allied war dead to further their political agenda. And it's possible that somone else might actually disagree with a certain someone even though that certain someone thinks their utterances unobjectionable.

WF has always been it's "best" when it's turned inward, against itself. I'm no better or worse than anyone else. I did my part against Apostle, not because of anything personal, but because of the people involved, he was the most likely the see the point. That is, "Hey, this behavior is unacceptable. Stop." I did my part against Kirk because, well, he's Kirk. He's so dense, I'm surprised he can muster up the motor skills to sit up and breathe. I did my part against Megatron because, while I'm content to just ignore his schtick, if we're knocking down stupid repetitive behavior, he's Public Enemy #1. I was going to do my part against Sokar, but real life got in the way. Nothing personal, dude. We share a lot of the same history and stomping grounds. But, yeah, it's gotten old. You're smart enough to find new material. I even did my part to prop up actormike. But, dude, you weren't exactly making it easy.
What part of I never saw the fucking post until today escapes your pea brain? All that was said before evenflow helpfully posted a link to the bullshit was that someone was called Gomer Pyle and something was said about his wife. I think Tamar's point on that is that, to my knowledge, you've never engaged in "repwar" before and you seemed to look down on those who did. Now you have partcipated in it. Dude, I was never involved in the shit thrown at you with your dog because it escaped me. First, as shootER has pointed out and I enboldened below, you were known as Poodle for a time. Second, I am sorry your dog got run over, and if I remember correctly, I even gave my condolences for your loss. That you have chosen to forget that speaks volumes. As much as I have sympathy for anyone who loses a pet, it is rather horrid, I don't think anyone can be under mis-aprehension that apostle blew the whole think well out of proportion. This was not a family member being attacked, a serious illness, a human death or anything comparable. Most of us, uncluding myself, gave sympathy at the time (and apostle both forgets those offerings of sympathy and the PMs he would send people at the time going in about it). Either the poodle issue is a huge troll, or he simply hasn't experienced life enough to know there are much shittier things out there than losing a pet dog. Hell, I lost a pet shortly after he did. A cat I had owned for ten years. I didn't even mention it. Why? Because my dad had cancer at the time and I had just been laid off. In the time since apostle's precious poddle died there have been several other Wforger's pets die, or be ill (such as Forbin's) and none of them have kept tirelessly dragging up it up like apostle does over his long since gone mutt. I'm calling it as one huge troll.
I saw a photo of the dead dog in a box. It was real. I even posted the photo here to troll him. That was fun!
