What they were looking for was a chance for Muad and Zombie to have a "who can be the biggest douche" contest. Then Chup jumped in and stole the title from them both.

Actually the right course of action would be for you to stop being an asshole throwing around your military acronyms, stop acting like a condescending bitch towards other posters and act like a normal poster.

There was nothing unusual about Anc's posts until you and Muad started bitching.

And, don't say he was asked politely to clarify, either. He wasn't. Muad made a snide comment (nothing unusual about it - typical wordforge stuff), then you piled on.

Can't blame him for getting condescending after that. Heck, I've done the same thing. Not that my responses were well received after that, either. But, then, I've dealt with small children all my life, so I wasn't much bothered by it.

I don't understand why someone would want to make posts that a large percentage of your audience won't understand.

It is really rude to post something and expect other people to do research just to understand your point.

It is usually up to the author to frame their writing in a way to make it understandable. Refusing to communicate properly in a discussion really does make you seem like an asshole. Not only that, if you don't care enough about your points to make them clear to the majority of your audience, why should anyone care enough to read your posts at all?

The condescension has been going on for a long time. It didn't start in this thread. Neither did the acronyms.

We have several veterans here on the board, yourself included, and I rarely have to ask any of them for a translation or clarification.

1. As I have previously explained, this is a military thread, and I figured those who were interested would know what I was saying.

There is not one poster that is a regular in Camp Wordforge that wouldn't take the time to explain anything you wanted to know about guns.

In fact most of us would jump at the chance to teach you (or anyone else).
