IIRC Lanzman has said that if Cass wanted to come back she need only ask, she herself seems to have moved on though.
Personal information, deliberately and repeadedly. But first names, not "name, phone number and address, plus employer's ID" information. It's the kind of ban that you can overcome fairly easily (not like Borgsie trying to destroy the board), but she doesn't seem to want to come back now.
The answer would appear to be obvious: While Cass is no longer interested in the place, Tamar is. What's complicated about that?
What more is there to it? Other than in your mind? It has been spelled out over and over and over again so that even you, who are determined to criticize everything and everyone connected with the board, cannot possibly have missed it, that the reason Cass is no longer around is not because she is banned, but because she obviously has no interest in coming back. Even her ban was in no way similar to anything Tamar ever did. When did Tamar deliberately and repeatedly do something, including just after having been told not to? You want to believe in conspiracy theories, because you want to believe that those who run the board are twisted, devious, lying, and manipulative power-mad trolls. (Or at least you pretend to; I still remember that you told us in no uncertain terms that we actually know nothing about you because everything you post is just a part of your on-line personna.) That's your right. But don't expect those of us who don't share your conspiracy theories to have the same outlook. The bottom line is just what I said it is: The only reason Tamar is still around and Cass is not is exactly what I said -- Tamar wishes to be and Cass does not. And all your rants and ravings and imagined conspiracy theories will not change that one whit.
Ok, then, tell me when Tamar revealed personal information on the board, repeatedly, after having been told not to. You obviously know something of board history I do not, and I would be interested in knowing.

I don't believe spaceturkey was advocating Cass's return as much as he was suggesting that the reason that Cass was banned was for an action often taken subsequently by dear Tamar (well, unless people like garamet and 14th Doc fall outside the rules just because they aren't among the popular kids). You know, dare I say it, he may have been asking you to consider a "one rule for one, another rule for another question", to which the desire to post here is entirely irrelevant.
On a more serious tone, the picture was inappropriate, as are the pictures of women posted here by many, over and over again. There isn't a "white room" here. I'm not certain why people think that means they should post their psuedoporn in other rooms here.
You think God's work is inappropriate? Or that God's image is inappropriate? They're just pictures of the human form. It's not like any of the pictures were engaged in sexual activity.
I got an almost-ban from Elwood once, for using Summerteeth's real first name, but the only reason I knew her real first name was because she revealed it when she asked us to pledge her walkathon (or something like that), so I was saved.
