We'll see how much the public likes it when the IRS starts seizing fines out of their bank accounts.

Exactly. Nothing more likely to make me trust a federal program than putting the IRS in charge of it.

One of the comments below the article made good points as a comparison to all the goodies ACA has to offer. What if someone offered you a car that had leather seats, bluetooth, GPS, iPhone jack, alloy wheels, premium tires, Bose sound system? Sounds great! I'll take it!

Congrats, here's your fully loaded Mitsubishi Lancer! Enjoy!

Except that the exchanges offer a choice of four tiers with several insurers in each tier.

Or are you saying all U.S. health insurers = Mitsubishi Lancers?

Given the shenanigans they've been allowed to get away with in the past (denial for preexisting conditions, unlimited out-of-pocket, lifetime caps for terminal patients), I'd be inclined to agree.

Then again, y'all were content to pay them premiums before, even with all of that.

Seems a little silly to complain about paying them now that they can't pull that shit anymore.

Yeah, because the IRS collecting tax money to fund government programs is completely unprecedented....

How much of that is their fault, and how much of that is the fault of the people writing the rules they have to work under?

What the IRS has to do is pretty simple. The Massachusetts Department of Revenue has been doing it for a few years. Your insurer issues a medical 1099 which you file with your return. If you don't have one, you don't get the tax credit, so you pay the full amount.

You're right. The IRS has never abused its authority. The TSA is completely trustworthy. The NSA isn't spying on American citizens. Government power is never misused. PAPERS!

Yeah, yeah... the government and all it's employees are evil and/or incompetent and a massive waste of money. Except for you, of course. You're special and different.

Because the other stations are so unbiased? I do love FOX though...it makes people like you two foam at the mouth just knowing it exists and doesn't tow the Democrat party line.

This is one of those "I've decided on your behalf how you feel about something, and your denying it only proves I'm right" things?

Because I love those. They're clever and original. o_O

It doesn't make me mad at all, Other stations are BIASED as well, BUT they don't hide it like FOX does. Fox claims to be "Fair and impartial" Yeah as Impartial as Rupert Murdoch lets them be. By the way, He OWNS FOX and Clear channel radio. You know the blowhard stations you listen to Rush Limbaugh And Hanity on..

That's interesting...considering I don't listen to Rush, Hannity or any of the other talking heads. But it is quite telling how immediately pissed you guys get when someone points out your hatred that FOX is allowed to exist.

Just like your hatred for the REST of the media, they ALL must be biased, RIGHT?
