As far as flashlight goes, his imaginary stories aren't worth commenting on. They are there specifcally to draw more information so he can then make up additonal false stories to attack about. His is a familar schtick, and easy to see coming.

Retreat and surrender. Face it Demi, you weren't owed anything. And you likely turned off some who might have been willing to help with your prickish entitled attitude. If you really wanted to help wifey, you could have offed yourself and made it look like an accident so she could collect the life insurance. But no, unfortunately you're still alive. :shame:

I'm just talking about ways Demi could have eased the burden on wifey without having to rely on others' charity and then getting pissy when he wasn't satisfied with what was offered. I think a well-planned suicide that looks accidental, such as crashing your car into a guard rail, is a perfectly acceptable alternative. So when he suffers a relapse of the ass cancer, keep that in mind.

The number of friends I have is irrelevant to the discussion of Demiurge's entitled attitude. Also, nobody is talking about being unwilling to help unless they're paid. When a post contains irrelevancies, I typically skip over it. I believe you're on the receiving end of this phenomenon quite frequently.

Hey look, it's ShootER The Cowardly Journalist. Are you still ashamed of your profession? Are you actually a reporter? Or are you just a camera mule? You're not on-air talent are you? I think you'd earn a lot of street cred if you went to Iraq and tried to score an exclusive sit-down with Jihadi Johnny. :)

Maybe the reason nobody offered to help poor Demi was because wifey is batshit crazy and couldn't be trusted with money, like poor Shep. Or so we were all told by Moral High Ground Anc and Dr. Tamar. Funny how Shep didn't seem to share that assessment of his wife.

Today was quite an adventure. Had a PET scan to see where all the cancer has spread to and a CT of the brain to see if I have mets there. Have to be back at the hospital at 8 AM for the lever biopsy.

Ok. I'm going to say something about prayer that a lot of people have a hard time understanding.

Prayer is not your way of changing God's mind, prayer is God's way of changing your heart.

So, if someone you love is ill or suffering, pray for strength to endure the hardship and wisdom to help them in whatever way you can.

Btw, Swampy Taint would be a great name for a Southern/roots rock Allman Bros. style jam band.

Yes that "Magic Loogie" scene was one of the absolute funniest of any comedy show period.

Had a VERY bad day today. I got to experience what it feels like to drown, except it lasted about 3 hours before I got it under control with the inhalers. That was most unpleasant

That sounds horrible. The closest I ever came to that feeling, I was snorkeling in Cancun and had to fight a rip current to swim back to shore. I was pretty scared. I kept running out of breath and I kept going under water. My snorkel wouldn't stay on either. I felt pretty helpless. I'm a bad swimmer and out of shape, I thought I was a goner for sure. That's the only time I felt the will to live was strong enough to force me to swim harder.

It was horrible. I see the pulmonologist tomorrow. I think it's time to talk about some oxygen.

I don't know what that is. Is it an oxygen doctor? Sorry, I went to school in South Carolina. Don't use those big words on me.
