Yeah, no. Racist ignorance trumps Brony any day of the week. I liked you better when you were spamming the board with you Two Minute hate of garamet every ten seconds.
I liked you better when you weren't kissing up to the owners....oh wait, I don't think that time ever existed. Now run along and cry about all the khaki in the navy sucking...just like most of the dirtbags do.
Wait till we have another thread on veteran benefits and VA andcwatch him accuse everyone of scamming the system.
As to the topic,I'm not sure how to resond to this kinda rampant ignorance. I lived in Northern California, and even the most white bread suburbanites knew what pointing was. Fucking Christ on a cracker, and we gotta wonder why peole get pissed over Zimmerman and Ferguson.
It's no wonder there are groups of people who still insist racism is going strong. A black man does the universal gesture of "this guy here" that so many people do in photo ops, and he's flashing gang signs. It takes a special brand of ignorant ass to see that kind of thing. I believe that racism as we've known it for the past several hundred years is on the way out. Now what we'll have to deal with is racial ignorance in an information age. Should be fun.
It's okay because it uncovers racist respondents scum, which tells us more about who votes in what way and why.
So it was pointed out to me upthread, but I wonder: Ingrained racism is not unlike locker-room talk. What people say with a nudge and a wink and a snide little chuckle when they know they're among people who share their views is one thing; what they'll commit to writing is more apt to be tempered by at least a grain of caution, IMO.
So some shame and embarrassment keeps it in check. Like John said, it's a measure of progress. Until we all sync up to the hive mind, you're never going to know what's in someone's heart.
It's what comes out their mouths and what "Fuck, yeah!" false bravado inspires them to act on what's "in their hearts" that concerns me, your efforts to characterize what I'm saying as something other notwithstanding.
It'd definitely be interesting to see how many people agreed with such a blatant statement, as opposed to the thinly veiled versions that we see all the time.
I finally watched the story. What dumbasses. That station used to be really good, but this is pretty typical of what they've become. They're getting torched on media message boards and Facebook. A dumbass friend of mine just took a job there, too.
