How do you feel about Dayton being banned?

The dude managed to get fired from the Waffle House for being incompetent within his first week there.

We should make a list of all the times Dayton has been fired from a job. During his recent episode he kept insisting that he had not been fired from even a majority of the jobs he has held but I seem to recall him getting fired from just about every job.

Hell, even his current employer tried to fire him but Dayton got off on a paperwork technicality.

Well considering how he threatened board members, I'd say he got off easy with just one month. In my world, that's a permaban.

Well, not every job, but I'm sure there were a few "writing on the wall" instances that he left before he could officially be sacked.

Naw, he wouldn't really do it but he had been warned before so they kind of had to do something.

Why?

It wasn't that, to be clear. I won't speak for the other owners, but I don't like to do things just for the hell of it. Did I think Dayton had any capability to pull some shit off? No. But he's been told to knock this behavior off plenty of times, with more chances than gul and shootER ever gave to John Castle and was increasingly getting worse.

And for those that felt like we liberals were out to get Christians, you can be sure that any liberals doing the same will see the same punishment.

I believe only one of Castle's bannings happened since I became an owner.

The one before that was when he was blustering and pissed Anc off. I didn't quite agree with that one, but while I mostly liked the guy, he showed his ass the last go around at TK.

For making threats. It was a month or two back and he publicly said he would stop. That is why he was on a short leash.

I wasn't here for that but if my intuition is any guide Dayton probably left the keys some where while he went in to get donuts or something.

Fired after one day AND let a prisoner escape. That is a Dayton move if I ever heard one.

Since he can't see this himself, I'd like to clarify that he wasn't going to kick you out, but that he would've if he thought he wouldn't catch flack from staff and members alike for it. An assessment that is correct.

Of course, that would require taking you off ignore to implement.

How do you know this when dayton is known to lie and embellish the truth? He is also a professional victim.

I don't think he always lies. He tries to augment the truth somewhat, but never really tells outright lies. He revealed it one of the times he was asked in here about the various sackings he had been on the end of. If there's one thing that is indisputable about the man it's his flagrant disclosure of personal information.

I don't remember too much about it. It was ages ago he said about it. I did a search but can't find the reference. It was probably in one of those posts that he went back and changed. All I remember was that he said he'd been there one day and it happened. It do seem to remember he saying it wasn't his fault. I think he had been left on his own when he shouldn't have been. I'm not the only one who remembers it though. That "President Dayton" Twatter account refers to it so someone else here must remember it as well.

I know he only lasted a day or two at Waffle House so maybe I am getting it mixed up with that. But I definitely remember the jail job ending because a prisoner escaped.

That is the pantomime of lying christopher walken was talking about in his scene in "True Romance." Basically dayton tells everything while saying nothing.
