Oh my long four-day weekend is set - hunt during the day, point and laugh at bed-wedding liberals at night. Well, it's a bit of gloating. But I've just watched a few weeks of libs gloating here even before the result, as I recall Liet was smugly speculating on whether Hillary would seek reelection in 2020 (probably why the poor guy split for a spell); or how about proclaiming the GOP dead and picking at the corpse for over a year now.

In fairness, it is a bit of gloating. I've been pretty reserved about it because I've been on the other side and know that it sucks when your candidate loses. (Though, technically, Trump's was really my guy only in the sense that he was the one who wasn't Hillary.)

But, really, some of these people are going past overreaction and into hysteria. Suck it up, realize the world isn't coming to an end, and move on.

I didn't think so - then again a professor most likely hasn't had an actual "we have to turn a profit or meet a deadline or crank out X amount of widgets" job in a long time - but most of the students will at some point.

I wouldn't. I feel bad for these staffers. Most of them will not transfer to the new Administration, which is understandable as Donald will want his own people there. I still think mocking people who are sad about the coming changes in their line of employment is a bit over the top, though. This isn't a left/right issue, this is just having basic human decency.
