Talking of ties, I think Trump's may be cutting off circulation to his brain:

    Holy. Fucking. Shit.

I have some bad students who no doubt thought they wrote beautiful essays in the exams I just marked. They're still gonna fail.

So you’re advocate “bigger government”? You’d at least need a larger House chamber if you want to quadruple the membership. Sounds expensive. Or you could just cram them all in to the current room. But where would they sit, on each others' laps? Or would you rip out the seating and make them stand (might get more things done that way...hmmm)?

Are all conservatives "one size fits all" to you Garamet?

I have no problem with more members of Congress and a different House chamber to house them in the interests of making Congress be more responsive to their constituents and more reflective of population changes.

    Why would this surprise you?

In the context of federated republics, asked and answered. Outside of one wasn't the question.

It's been off the front page before (or the front two for that matter) but it always comes back.

As long as a couple of the administrators we have are still around it will never be closed.

I never claimed President Obama was a "Kenyan".

And IIRC no one in "Rightforge" adopted my term of "novelty president".

Wrong. It was first used by Sokar on May 8, 2009.

You didn't start using it until July 23, 2009, and then only sparsely until 2012.

I read that though Desilu agreed to give the author of the short story "Arena" Fredric Brown an onscreen credit that they actually believed that the Star Trek writer had created his version of the story independently of Brown's.

Note, Brown's short story is considerably different in a number of respects than the aired version on Star Trek both in execution and most especially in the ending.

from the wikipedia entry on "Arena"

    • According to an account by Herbert Solow in the book Inside Star Trek, The Real Story,[2] the relation to Brown's short story may have been an unconscious inspiration. After Coon had written what he thought was an original script, Desilu's research department, headed by Kellam de Forest, noted the similarity. It was therefore agreed that Desilu's Business Affairs office would call Brown and offer a fair price for the story, before it was shot and broadcast. Brown agreed without knowing that the story had already been written; he was granted screen credit.

That is such a bullshit factoid. Brown wrote Arena in 1944. :zod:
