The things that happen at gas stations at night would amaze most people. That one was tame compared to some of the things I have seen back when I used to work overnights at some stations.
The clerk wasn't even supposed to be there that day. Also, Levon Helm is like, "that's not what I meant by take a load off."
You seem to know an awful lot about glory holes. Is there something you should be telling your parents?
Name and shame her. I remember a video a few years back from San Francisco where someone kept crapping on the side of this guy's house so he set up a camera to catch the culprit. It turned out to be this model gorgeous blonde chick who lived nearby. She would go on her morning jog and every day she'd take a detour to crap on the side of this guy's house. Some people are just not right in the head.
Why am I not shocked that you were a gas station clerk? And at multiple gas stations? Quite a career path you set for yourself!
I worked midnight shift at a gas station in college. The most amazing stuff happens between 2am and 4 am on weekday nights.
I'd be saying "tsk, 'merkins...", were it not for having very nearly stepped in human shit at Keele subway a while back. At least there's the excuse that there isn't a public toilet at that station. How the fuck do you not simply ask to use the crapper in a store of this size?
I started work at 14. I have done many jobs, and gas station clerk is one of the more memorable and hard ones. I guess hard work and effort are not something you value. Oh, and one thing I did learn when I was doing those jobs is not to shit on the people doing labor jobs. Nice attitude.
One of the stations I worked at was within walking distance of section8 housing. The local booty hatch closed years back and a lot of the numbers settled in around there because the local mental health clinic was nearby. There were some crazy nights, but they were always better than the daytime customers.
My favorite, though unfortunately there's no video of the incident. Reporter Accused Of Pooping On Lawn While On The Job Shortly after his arrest, the station...shitcanned him.
Yes, standing there as a clerk must have been very difficult! It's amazing that you haven't amounted to more after all you've been through. You know, the menial labor, the drugs, letting down your family for decades. It's not your fault. It's society's. Someone else must be to blame.
