I will be going there in July with some of my old college friends as the aunt of one of them owns a cabin out there and she has agreed to let us use the place for our guys camping weekend.

I know fishing, hiking, and bbqing will be on the itinerary though one of my friends is mentioning that he would like to go hunting. I am not sure for what or which licenses would be required.

As a matter of fact I have. Are you driving from San Diego? That's a hell of a long way.

I will be flying to SFO then we will be taking my friend's car.

Any must see sights or good hikes? Maybe rustic yet good eating establishments?

A few pictures... The first is a huge boulder that was hurled over a mile during the last eruption 100-odd years ago. The rest are closer to the summit but not all the way up.

This was the first week of June, btw.

I have pics somewhere of a trip my wife (then girlfriend) and myself in the Arizona mountains on Memorial Day weekend many years ago and the snow was still waist high. Then when we went back to Phoenix I had to go back to work in 100 degree heat at my construction job. :brood:
